Sounds like me. Also when I'm still in the car, I'm using traffic hacks, alleys, and garages. Escape by any means necessary.

I've gotten to the point where I completely ignore pop up missions unless i'm specifically looking to do one.

Someone mentioned they had a hard time shooting their way through the Mad Mile ctOS center. Well, there's that approach, but there's also....THIS one:

Gameplay spoilers if you don't want to know how to beat this part, but no plot-related stuff.

          <object height="720" width="960">

          </object><object height="360" width="480">

It's not optimized or anything - I did some fumbling around with the cameras that I didn't need to. But I just wanted to show the "other" approach for getting through areas like this.

I did that last night, there was a lift out front that I used to get up on the roof to the left of the main entrance. From there I scouted the entire place (my first experience vs elites I think) and I did some distracting and eventually sniping and all out gunfights from that roof position. Repelled a call for reinforcements and eventually wiped out the compound, dropped down and hacked. Was pretty fun.

Except for the ones where you have to knock out but not kill one or more of the enemies.

Also, I'm going to be the one that defends the soundtrack. Turn off most of the hip hop and I'm good to go. I could run around the city with that late 90s-2000s Chicago punk all day.

This is one of the things I love so much about Watch Dogs. There's really no wrong way to do something, being creative is great. I was struggling with a gang hide out earlier, one of those you need to knock the target out and not kill him, and I'm at the point where baddies often have body armor and can call in help. To make a long story short I ended up using the lures to thin them out and isolate them which made getting to my target a hell of a lot easier. Even with a grenade launcher I was initially having issues, but by taking it slow and smart, it was a breeze.

There's so many instances where stuff like that happens in this game.

Haven't used lures that much, but Blackouts have saved my bacon in a number of escapes (like after you kill one guy or accomplish some objective and have to get away from the mob of enemies).

I also have the transformer hack that can cause one without a need to use my craft materials.

That soundtrack flat out sucks and it doesn't have anything to do with the hip hop. The soundtrack just sucks.

I'm sorry that you don't enjoy it. It could use more variety I guess. Maybe I'll get tired of it after awhile. But the music itself doesn't suck to me.

I certainly don't enjoy the soundtrack. I'll give it credit in that it does for the most part work to the overall theme of Watch Dogs. The flip side to that though, it compromised what the soundtrack could have been. Good to see someone who likes it though.

Also I had a bunch of online hacking and tailing attempts last night - servers might be getting better now.

Was also invaded twice - Killed one and stopped another at 95 percent. The latter was especially gratifying as I caught them with a nearby security camera. I had gotten down under cover to where the tailer couldn't see me and tried to get closer. I'm guessing it's because they were so close to winning they didn't think they'd get caught before it hit 100%. I switched to the camera and caught someone running up to my location, and actually didn't even profile them from Aiden's phone - the camera trained on them was enough for the profile. Unfortunately they realized it pretty quick and hopped on a bike to where I couldn't chase, but I still got over 100 notoriety points for that.

I guess if it's not a bunch of hip hop or hard rock with lots of profanity and stuff like that, it sucks.

I personally haven't had one issue with the music, this game is about something totally different and it fits. None of the songs are terrible, I was even jamming the blues station yesterday, while driving around the city looking for crime.

All I know is that they included "Gas Station" by The Cool Kids on the soundtrack which is a positive for me. I'm never not doing something long enough for the soundtrack to bother me or grow on me. Just kind of forgettable overall for me so far.
