I was wondering in Morrowind does the game ever end? I am kind of hoping it's like GTA how you can still play the game with your charachter after you beaten the main story lines in the game. Is this what Morrowind is like? Can I still keep playing with my character after I have beaten the main story?

Elder Scrolls III: Morrowing Question...
I just bought the Morrowind pack at Wal-Mart. And got all the games included with the first one.

Re: Elder Scrolls III: Morrowing Question...
You can finish the main quest in about 30 hours. You can continue to play the game forever. You can also play without ever finishing the main quest.
Been playing for about 2 weeks and haven't even started the main quest yet. There is alot to find on your own if you like to explore. I am having a blast with this game and its eating into my free time. -

Re: Elder Scrolls III: Morrowing Question...
I could sit and play that game for hours at a time. It's just that immersive. Like others have said, you don't even have to do the main quest and it will keep you busy. Even after I beat the main quest, I would do stuff like go around and try to steal all of the books that I could find. You basically make the game what you want. I haven't picked up the Game of the Year Edition just because I've hear about a lot of people having freezing problems with it. Can anyone verify if this is an issue? I remember being really frustrated with the regular Morrowind because after your save file got to be 200 blocks, it would freeze constantly.Mario Kart Wii: 1203 9969 5095

Re: Elder Scrolls III: Morrowing Question...
caseyd,
Everyone's mileage varies on this one. My friend had a launch xbox and could not load the game. I have a refurb xbox with the infamous thompson drive and have had NO freezes or lockups. Let me take that back, the game will freeze for a few seconds when its loading something, but the freeze doesnt hang the game.
I didnt play the original because of the errors people were complaining about, and i tried it on the pc and just couldnt go thru another RPG sitting in front of a monitor.
So in the end, i have had nothing but good things to say about GOTY.Comment
