    Okay? What's your point?

I just find the rebuttals to this franchise continuing down the over-the-top, all-inclusive ridiculousness to be a little over-the-top themselves. I don't go into Call of Duty threads and bash them from moving away/progressing from the MW1 base or bash them for not being Battlefield. Its just silly at this point.

While I'm not all that excited for it (seems too soon to me), the guy who doesn't like it should probably leave because at this point you're trolling.

2 was my favorite in the series. Felt it had a good amount of random *** hilarity that separated it from GTA enough. 3 was enjoyable, but maybe a bit over the top for me at points. It did give us some awesome missions though.

If im trolling it is because I was a die hard SR1&2 fan. Yea I dont like the wacky stuff, but if there was multiplayer I would care less about the single player, I would still buy,

But in other news just talked to 1 of the head guys on twitter & we had a convo about SR4 multiplayer making a return, he didnt say if it was but started with a "more details to come " then as we got into it, he said he will talk to the team to check the status on that & give them my thoughts,

        Fingers crossed

& for those not liking my comments he even said there is a big difference between SR1&2 fans & SRTT, said cant please everyone. I agree, im just a SR1&2 guy,

Im surprised that a new Saints Row is coming out this year. I was hoping they would wait untill next year. Its not going to sell well coming out a month before GTA 5. I hope its moved in to 2014.

Played through the SR1, and SR2, twice. Great games imo and great storylines that connected. SRTT sucked. Pure and simple. Again, its ok to have some over the top things, but the game felt like one gag after another. Now watching this trailer, I think its ok to say now that the Saints Row franchise as we knew it with the first two, is dead.

I think both SR2 and SR3 were great but for entirely different reasons. SR2 was a nice blend of cartoonish, slap-stick violence and mayhem, but I just do not buy into the "great story" as I feel like a lot of video games stories are lacking and SR2 didn't feel like anything special. Its a great game, but because of everything else. Driving a tanker and spraying **** on realty property? How does nobody see the natural progression of that into SR3?

SR3 ramped up the adult camp and ridiculous mayhem while being fun as hell to me. The missions were creative, entertaining, and a **** ton of fun. I enjoyed how they all didn't just feel like the same old same ol **** by the the end of the game and managed to be memorable which is more than I can say for most open world games. A random celebrity star pops up as the mayor? Makes no sense but it was hilarious and I loved it.

I understand if people don't like the direction, but its not like it just came up out of nowhere here. A lot of franchises experience the same growing pains.

This is hilarious considering there was a whole series of missions in Saints Row 2 where you literally threw **** at walls. The series has found it's niche and is better off because of it.

It has been 2 years since the last game and it's coming out at the perfect time since summer is traditionally slow.

I enjoyed the first two saints row games. I remember how excited i was playing the first one with the better control scheme and weapon configuration approach to a sand box game. Never played the 3rd one. Just had no desire to play it. 4 looks like some crackdown, superhero, weirdfest lol

I enjoyed SR3 but so far I wasn't really feeling that trailer. Luckily, they got 5 more months to impress me before I decide if I should buy it at release or wait later(much later) but I could see it being a nice place holder for until GTA comes out since I don't play Madden or NCAA Football like that.

Meh seemed too far gone from the Saints Row that I love. I loved the first 2 though. 3 was just vapid and didnt get me to care much about the story or the characters. Ill get IV when its 20 bucks by next February.

Loved the story of Saints Row 1 & 2. Hated Saints Row 3 due to the over the top pointless narrative to it. Don't see anything in SR4 that leads me to believe they're going back to the roots of what helped make SR1 & SR2.

I still don't get how SR 2's story is abundantly better than SR3's.
