What is a good online mp shooter for those with avg skills
I have avg skills and do not get to spend a lot of time online. Are there any shooters that have an easy to pickup and play online MP component for people who aren't at a high level? I do not want to start something where I am getting my head blown off every two minutes. ThanksDON'T PANICTags: None -

Honestly, I think BF3 is quite simple for beginners. It might be tough if you like sniping due to bullet drop and you have to figure out how high to raise it, but honestly, I am not that good and still have good rounds. -

Well Call of Duty is probably easiest FPS to just pick up and play. It is so catered to new players nowadays that it really is simple to pick up and play and not be too bad at.
However while COD is the probably the easiest to pick up and get used to and be good right away, it is not at all the best out there. Battlefield 3 is a much better game, at least in my personal opinion. I would recommend taking a little extra time to play BF3 and get good at it rather than just play CoD because it's noob friendly.Comment

The only reason I say BF3 is because there are so many different ways to help your squad. You don't have to be an expert at FPS to compete and KDR doesn't matter. There are some guys on here who never played a shooter and started out as support guys and recon and now play as front line assault/engineers. It's not so much about your kills, as it is helping the TEAM with health, ammo, etc..

IMO COD games are way more twitch based, and I've stopped playing them since I don't have enough time to get to an awesome level.Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment

To add to them, As a medic (which I play), when you revive a teammate (by unlocking defibrillators) you get +100 which = a kill. Kill = +100. I play on PC and we have games that are like 20vs20 and sometimes 32vs32 (on consoles it is limited to 12v12 i think) but we play like 500-1000 kill tickets and even when I get only like 35 kills my scores are above people that get like 45 kills because I revive and heal people all the time.Comment

Thanks, That sounds pretty good. I liked Killzone 3's MP because I got to be an engineer and build turrets to support the troops. I liked that a lot. Maybe I will give BF3 a try. Thanks again.DON'T PANICComment

Yeah, Engineers in BF3 have a few cool gadgets, on top of the arsenal of anti vehicle weapons. You get the EOD Bot (remote control bot) and a repair tool, so you can help repair any sort of vehicle.
Assault can revive fallen team mates or throw down extra health.
Support gets C4, Claymores, or mortars...
Recon can put down motion sensors, mobile spawn points, and use the MAV to fly and spot enemies.. it can even be landed and serve as a motion sensor
It's very class based and balanced, so there's Always something to do to help without racking up kills..
I think you would enjoy it. There's plenty of OS guys on Xbox and PS3, so you won't have to be on your own, while getting used to it.
