    Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition

    http://www.baldursgate.com/news/2012...anced-edition/

Idk if any of you guys are excited as me for this, but i'm freaking pumped loved this game and other of those old similar PC RPG games. I think they said they would consider redoing Icewind Dale as well depending on this success.

Supposed to come out late in the Summer/September I believe for PC/Mac and I think I even read an iPad version as well

Said they would add new quests, higher level cap, new characters, and DLC with new content(not already existing content)

Edit: This is just for the 1st Baldur's Gate and expansion, Baldur's Gate 2 and it's expansion will come out at a later date supposedly

I'm definitely still a fan of these older Bioware games. I think about popping in BG2 all the damn time. Just got Icewind Dale about a few weeks ago. From the super detailed artwork to the character personalities, nobody has quite done it like these games since.

Yup, as detailed of graphics, etc in RPGs there are today I'm not sure there is anything as good from a pure RPG standpoint as some of these older games to me at least.

Baldur's Gate was great, no doubt.

But between the two, I preferred the Icewind Dale series. I hope it's next to get enhanced.

Bioware made a great engine, but Black Isle made better games with that engine (Planescape Torment and Icewind Dale).

Agreed, but I miss these type of games so looking forward to this. I heard they are eyeing Icewind Dale, but they gotta see if these games are successful
