Why doesn't some big developer jump at the chance at making a Walking Dead game? Zombies are in, and no one can do the survival genre any justice. Look at how much press South Park is getting (developed by Obsidian I believe), why can't we get something like that for Walking Dead?

They don't have 2 months. The have at best a couple of weeks. Need a month to bug test and a month to cert/press.

I don't understand what the rush is to get this out so quickly. It would be better suited for a fall release when season4 begins, or a summer release when there is no season and this game would fill a walking dead void.

I really hope Activision doesn't rush this. The potential for a huge series is very high if they get the first one right, and as a stock Holder, I hope they can get another huge series.

My guess is, that Activision wants to play it as safely as possible. Get a relatively unknown developer to make your game, barely give them anything budget wise to make the game, and then assume the game will sell based on it's title alone.

It's truly that moment when you realize Activison did nothing but a cash grab with this title. Such a shame, as it could have been great. From now on, just let Telltale handle the property.

I wouldn't do it the justice of purchasing new if it ends up being what we think it is. Dead Island Riptide would be a day1 purchase, and this FPS would just become something to pick up used.
