Halo 2: Anniversary Apparently in Development by 343 Industries

This just in. According to the rumors and speculation section of the latest Official Xbox Magazine, there is currently a Halo 2: Anniversary Edition in the making by 343 Industries, creators of the upcoming Halo 4.

The snippet in the magazine states, "Following the success of remake Halo: Anniversary, 343 Industries has now started development of Halo 2: Anniversary."

While nothing is confirmed, i'd defintely like to see a High Definition version of the excellent title. If it turns out to be true, expect more information in the coming months. Stay Tuned.

It would be nice if they made a team dedicated to bring the rest of the games to the PC, Halo was one of my favorite franchises when CE came out. Then they made a crap PC port of Halo 2 then never made anything else for it.

This is the only one I never played. I wouldn't mind picking it up if this happens.

If they included multiplayer I would be all over that. I've never played any other game as much as I played Halo 2 online. I probably played it for three years straight.

343i may not be able to do, but some other dev could attempt to re-skin Halo 2.

Didn't a side team under 343 do Halo: CE Anniversary edition anyways?
