NUNI! It was good to run with you a couple games tonight. I got the Corrupted file error twice & just decided to call it a night. I'm ready for this to be fixed so we can get our rush on.

I don't understand how you guys are having so many issues playing with friends. It's easy to find a friend in a server, join that server, and make a squad and have you both join

Man, I'm so garbage at this game. I haven't been nice in a shooter since the Rainbow Six days though, so this is nothing new. But I'm having fun and that's the most important thing. I hopped in Dookie's room for a little bit, but ended up getting dropped by the server. I wasn't providing much help though, so it wasn't much of a loss lol.

I'm right there with you. Granted, I only got to play a couple rounds of domination last night, but I got it handed to me for sure (went 3 / 9 K/D in both rounds). Couldn't hardly see any enemies, then when I did, my aim was WAY off all over the place. I know it's just going to be the cliche of "practice, practice, practice", but man, it's going to be painful along the way.

Like you, I also have never really sunk a lot of time into multiplayer games. I played probably 25 hours of MW2 back in the day, and then maybe 20 hours of Black Ops 2 when it came out, and that's it outside of dabbling in Warhawk and Starhawk a bit. Even when I played these, I was never all that great at them. I'm usually quite happy to break even in the k/d.

Which is why I was / am looking forward to getting into BF - you can gain skill and help your team even if you're not a killing machine. I just need to find my niche, and when I do I think I'll start enjoying the game quite a bit.

I am pretty bad at shooters as well. If I can get around a 1.0 K/D I am very happy. Sadly I cannot use the lack of playing excuse, I put quite a few hours into BO2 last year, and still wasn't that good at it. I am hoping with so many ways to help your team on this game, I can find a role that I am fairly good at. I still cannot get into Rush or Conquest, but I did have a good time playing TDM last night. Hopefully I can team up with some of you tonight, it is always more fun playing with people on here.

I don't think this is the case for PS4.

If it is I just cannot find it.

Either way I couldn't play Rush at all last night. I was able to get into Domination, but got disconnected a couple times. Managed to win most of the games, but took a beating as far as k/d. I adjusted my latency, turned aim assist off, and upped the sensitivity to 45. I'm thinking 60 will be a good base as 45 feels like a turtle moving. People are spamming those grenade launchers and RPGs, though. I need Conquest soon.

I got the blue screen/CE error several times. I restarted the console and that seemed to fix it. Thankfully I was only past the first mission of the single-player campaign so it didn't really matter much to me.

There definitely seems to be a lot more issues when compared to the BF3 release. Granted it is on a new console so I am going to cut them some slack but I am not playing it until it gets fixed. Best way to keep from getting aggravated.

Other than Kernzo, I never see any of yall online. Is there an updated PSN list going, because out of 37 names I tagged out of the thread, I only see 2 play Battlefield 4 for more than 1 round.

I was on for about 4 hours yesterday. Now, I am working from home so it was from like 10am - 2pm, then I got on again in the evening. I saw I had friends on, hit the battlelog button and got booted from the servers, then couldn't join anyone because these 20 person servers are crap and fill up too fast.

hopefully will be able to get on and play tonight. a couple thoughts for the people that are saying they are "bad", and that they have not picked up a shooter in a while. I resemble that comment. Why I like BF games is that if you are not great at putting bullets in players, find other ways to get points and help out. I'm never going to be a great run and gun game play. So I find other ways to get my points.

1) Use your class abilities: Drop Ammo backs, health packs, revive players, repair vehicles, etc. I had a round a couple days ago that I actually stayed alive long enough to realize those ammo packs are damn helpful!

2) MARK ENEMIES: This is a pet peeve of mine. If you mark players on the map I can help you out. I can throw suppressive fire, or my squad can come help you. As a bonus, you get points for marking enemies when they die at the hands of someone else.

3) Stick with your squad. BF4 really focuses on squad play. All your points escalate if you are sticking with your squad. This will come in handy for us when all the OS people start grouping together.

4) Capture some flags, get points! I see lots of people completely avoiding the objectives of the games and just running around sniping people.

5) Find something you are good at. Personally I like playing Support, and try to pride myself in getting kill assists and suppression assists, rather than outright kills. I get a medium range scope (i'm liking the holo + 2x scope secondary combo right now) on my LMG, find good protected places that overlooks common choke points and just lay down TONS of bullets to help my teammates. Likewise, when I am running in my squad, I worry most about suppresive fire, and let the engineers and assault players rack up the kills.

Another example of this, is that some people become really really awesome at vehicles. I think finding that thing you like and are good at will make the game more enjoyable. Even if you skills are marginal like mine.

I find doing all these things are easier when you are in a good squad. I look forward grouping up with everyone really really soon!
