How the hell do you drive those choppers? heli's , jets? whatever they're called

Switch vehicle controls to "veteran" and that should make much more sense for you. The new control layouts are needless/pointless/ridiculous.

Finally got to play some Rush and Conquest tonight and I was blown away. I have stated how much I really did not like Conquest in BF3, but on PS4 with 64 players it is amazing. There was non stop action the entire match. Now all we need is for Dice to get this error taken care of. I definitely see myself putting a lot of hours into this game.

Finished the campaign finally. If you stay offline the game seems a bit more stable, but it can still crash (only happened once, though). Just back up your file constantly.

The whole thing felt fairly stock to me, although as it went along, I did tend to like the characters a bit more. Still, the days of these FPS campaigns with linear story-telling and big set-pieces, I hope, are coming to an end. They are entertaining like an action movie, but they all feel too similar and aren't necessarily engaging. I'm actually wishing they would go for a grittier style and overall a more realistic tone. What these guys are able to survive is just too unreal.

Now I can move on to the multi-player portion. No co-op missions this time around; I kinda liked those.

After probably my worst string of games on BF4 (like 5 games in a row barely keeping a 1.0 k/d and having a low SPM each round) this felt so good. Sadly, we lost

Side note: I don't know what it is, but whenever I squad up with mike, empire, and jac, I always play ****ty. I couldn't hear you guys either, bc when you're in a party your VOIP doesn't work

This game has the potential to be the best game on the next gen consoles. However, servers mess up the experience. Its not just ps4, its pc, its xbo too. No stable servers. This could have been good for them to still away the cod marketshare some more. BF4 60FPS. That's ****ing awesome. Much smoother and so on. Its a shame the servers suck. Its across all platforms so that mean, there won't be a quick fix...****.

Damn, leveling up the pistols I see Dog. I'm trying like hell to whip out my pistol any chance I get to make a kill to keep leveling them up, as I really want the G18 and 44 magnum. As of now, I'm at I believe level 12, and i've only unlocked the M9. Halfway to the next handgun.

Probably be online tonight after 8:30 EST or so. Still don't really know how to squad up with anyone while in a game, but even if we're on opposite sides, it's still a blast playing with you guys. I missed out on BF3 entirely, so I wanna enjoy this while it lasts with everyone else.

PC is nowhere near as bad now. It was at launch, if not worse, but its pretty damn stable now on PC. Its not perfect and there are some hiccups, but its a very stable and enjoyable game right now on PC.

With 2 brand new consoles/servers/no beta its going to take a min to get right on Ps4 and X1. Eventually it will all get ironed out and continue to be an absolutely amazing experience.

I'm not giving Dice/EA a pass, just saying unfortunately we are the guinea pigs and it's going to take some time to perfect.

So I didnt pick up the game last night (wife wanted to hang out)

I am still planning to pick it up this morning. I definitely want to try this game out, are errors getting better?

I would really like a change of pace from 2k...

Ive never played any BF so maybe once I'm up and running I can tag along with one of you vets on PS4.

More issues this morning. Got into a game of Rush, played about 5 minutes, then the server was disconnected. Tried to start back up numerous games of Rush, but was thrown into an empty lobby every time with noone joining.

After getting a taste of both Conquest and Rush in all of their glory, I no longer want to "pass the time" playing TDM and Domination.

Here's to hoping this improves throughout the day, as I'd like to get some time in.

On another note, how do you guys split your time by class? Do you find one class/gun you are good with and stick with it, or do you try to mix it up and level everything up? I find I do MUCH better with the Assault class and the SCAR/M416 than I do any other class. Engineer is my second best, and I like having the launchers to disable enemy vehicles, but I've had little to no luck with the SMG's or any carbine in the engineer class.
