Server Browser works fine. You won't see a China Rising map if you're playing on a default server rotation..

Does anyone know when the current double xp ends and when the premium event starts? I'll probably pick it up once that double xp kicks in.

Do you mind sharing the browser settings you are using? We have 20+ PS4s here and no configuration we have attempted has resulted in anything other than 0 / 64 or a "No servers found"

Just checked again, 0 servers showing anything other than 0/32 or 0/64 or "No servers found" with any combination of server browser settings...wether it be Rush, Conquest, Conquest large, etc etc.

Conquest Large, Rush, Obliteration; all maps checked; 1-15; official/ranked; US servers

We find a server that is only half filled and just join from there. That way everyone can join. We've jumped around to different servers with a full 8 man party.

Bought this for the PS4 a few days ago, but reading all the negative things about it connecting online is leading me to think about exchanging it for something else. Advice?

I have premium installed on my PS4 but whenever I try to go into the new maps a screen comes up saying to buy premium. I click it and it says already downloading and to check my downloads which I did and it says installed. I purchased the premium on my PS3 so it would carry over to the PS4 which it did. Anyone else having issues getting into the china rising maps? Thanks.

The bike will cross the river on Dragon Pass, however, you fall off half way through and get to watch the bike come out of the water.

Go to the XMB, and the BF4 'tab' (what you click to play the game), then scroll down and you can select it there so it'll start downloading.

Go to the main home screen, highlight over bf4 and go to related items. China rising should be listed free there.

EDIT: I love the addition of the end of round camera. It makes for funny moments. My friends and I always try to get into the camera frame just before it ends. That past round before I left, I know jnes was in there not sure who else, but it was the map with the globe at the top of the hill. I'm not sure if you noticed a jet crash and burn on the end of round camera shot, but yeah we try to do that every time.

I loved the two games I played of China Rising. Reminds me of Armored Kill, in a good way

Yeah that one map with the giant satellite dish covering a cap point, there's a tower you can climb up right next to the satellite. You're basically right in front of the camera there. You can either stand on top and jump around or you can decide to parachute down just as it ends. What's cool is they give you control in that camera shot. I don't think you can run around but you can turn left and right in a jet/chopper or jump up and down.

I'll have to check out some of the new maps later on tonight. It's been a little over a week since I last played and I'm getting the itch to get back on. I watched some guy playing a desert map on Twitch that I hadn't seen before, but I'm not sure if it was from China Rising or not.

Are most of you picking up the Premium? It seems like a pretty good deal from what I'm reading. Since I don't plan on trading this one in, I'm pretty sure I'll get it.

I'll say this: Premium is worth it if you're a Battlefield fan. That means if you can put up with the nasty bugs (the one hit kill bug is so bad. You get the drop on a guy and he fires off ONE shot before he dies and you end up dying too)

For me, I love BF4. I hate the bugs, hate the crashes, hate the hit detection, hate the lag (I don't know if it's PSN or the DICE servers), but the game itself is a blast to me. So premium is worth it and then some to me. But if you're just someone looking to play BF4 for some fun every now and then, I don't think you'd get your money's worth with Premium. Just my .02

I started doing some aggressive recon yesterday and the poor hit detection really showed itself. At least five times in the couple games I played I had my sight directly on the guy's torso and fired off a shot in a 1-on-1 with the M40A5 and died with the guy still showing 100% health. My shot didn't even register. And one time I shot a desperate, hip-fire-while-moving shot at a guy that surprised me that I KNOW I missed and I got a kill somehow
