I love the huge pvp numbers. LOVE 60fps, so it should 'feel' less stuck in the mud and more responsive like cod. The one thing I saw that I don't like I've brought up a million times is the First Person VIEW - it looks instead of normal eye vision that it's a wide angle lense.
if you're at an office or at home or whatever, look at a person about 30-40 ft away. It's not very far, if you were to point at them you'd have no trouble pointing at a head, chest, foot even etc. Even taking into account the shrink due to screen size etc. For me the subjects within the frame in these videos are too small.
This is just like a wide-angle film lense - normal on 35mm film would be about a 50mm lense which is just about the perspective of eye vision. a 25mm lense is a 'wide' lense making someone 30-40 ft away look about twice as small - and THAT is my problem with a bunch of FPS' or FP games in general.
My guess is that they puposefully have a wider lense (maybe not the equivalent of 25mm but def not "normal" vision) and the effect is that you get more periferal vision but the trade off is that you're shooting at tiny ants on the screen instead of detailed life-size bodies.
Personally I'd rather look through a 'normal' lens --- anyone else notice this, care, agree or disagree?
