Yeah, I knew what you meant. I just meant even with any issues the game has, I still love playing it and can't imaging not buying the game because of them.
I can't speak from an X1 perspective as I don't own one, but I don't find it hard to get into a game at all on PS4, and while I do get those great blue screen crashes occasionally, it's not something I wouldn't want to purchase the game over.Comment

I got in with a decent squad of randoms yesterday, and not surprising it was the first game I've actually had a win online. Large conquest is fun but man I get a lot of lag on those maps. There are a lot of bugs in this game; the sound dropping out from BF3 has returned - it was a bug they fixed about 18 months after release. The fact that the bug still exists is telling to me. I won't buy another DICE game at launch. It's a joke.
The game has a lot of potential. Unfortunately it won't really be viable for another year I'm guessing. I'd also like to play more with friends, but it seems that whole process is riddled with bugs and issues as well.Comment

If anyone is having stuttering gameplay issue (known as rubberbanding) try using ethernet instead of wifi and increasing the MTU on your router to 1500. It just worked for me on xbox one but I know people on ps4 was having similar issues.

I think I would still prefer the old squad up system. Squading up and trying to join a less full server would still be better to me. I usually just join the server a friend is in then try to get into their squad when I can, but since you all mentioned that if you join someone from their profile it will automatically squad you up I have been trying to do that. Well I have not had any success with that. Have been trying for the last 20 minutes to join other people's sessions to no avail. Earlier when I did join someone that way, the game never moved me to their team and squad even when space was available.Comment

Are you joining off their name on battlelog? I don't think it works if you join from the PSN list.
I always pull a d-bag move with my friend if I know I'm the odd man out from the 5 man squad. I'll join off his name so that he gets pulled from the squad and we form a squad automatically. After that, I'll just switch over to the main squad. He still has no idea what happens as he always just blames the group for ditching him.Comment

I am pressing the touch pad on the PS4 to enter battlelog in game, then pressing L3 on someone's name in my friends list, and then join session. Is that the correct way, or do I have to do it in Battlelog from my PC? Does it work if I click multiplayer and then just join the server that they are in?Comment

Yeah you're joining off the psn friends list doing it that way. You aren't technically joining them, but joining the server they are in. The ingame battlelog is awful, it lets you press triangle to join them sometimes but most of the time that doesn't show up. You need to use battlelog on your phone or computer.
