To be fair Bob, I have heard some people say they could not see the option either. When I was in BL last night I could see the option for almost everyone -

Did you click on them or just highlight over them? All that I saw was invite to mission which would bring them to me and not me to their game.

Missions are just friendly competitions. You can choose what map, what goal such as best engineer or most kills. It's not an invite to game button.

Also koolie, there should be a play button next to their names on battlelog. Much easier to spam that if the game is full as well.

The Battlelog in game is screwy for me. It'll show people playing but it won't actually put them in the "playing BF4" list so I can't join

Also, finished the campaign. It was solid

I also have the problem in-game where my friends are playing but I can't join them with triangle. In fact the only person that I can join via triangle in-game is mikenoob for whatever reason. It doesn't give me that option for anyone else. I really don't get it, this game still needs a lot of work. My guess is they just want everyone to use Battlelog for everything, but I don't have a ton of friends on there.

I had to choose the China Rising maps in the server browser to get into those maps. There may be another way to do it, but I don't know about it.

Yea I figured it out right after I posted the question. Had to search for the maps specifically in Server Browser. I do enjoy this game even though I suck. I only get about 5-10 kills a game because I apparently can't shoot. I'm so used to COD where when you look down sights you get a much better view of the guy you're shooting but in Battlefield you have to really keep your eyes open for enemies because its tough to find them or see them.

I've accepted that i'm going to die often and from out of no where because the way people snipe or you get killed from choppers, planes, etc. but i'm still enjoying the freedom I have to kind of go anywhere I want.

I'm getting better with the vehicles but I suck with the Jets. I can pretty much fly them but I basically just fly around because i'm not good enough to fly + shoot at the same time.

I just like how these maps are huge so they require the vehicles to get around but you can also just run around or swim to wherever. There's just so much freedom and the games are long. It's a completely different game than COD which is fast paced, all in your face action. That's part of the reason I know I can't convince my brother or friends to get interested because they wouldn't appreciate how longer the games are, bigger the maps are, harder the game is and they'd get too frustrated getting killed from some random guy on the top of the mountain.

Man people weren't kidding about the issues for this game. Mine constantly kicks me back to the menu or loses connection to EA servers for some reason.

The little time I have got to play it I like for the most part. I'm sure having a hard time seeing people from even a middle distance but people seem to see me just fine and drop me in what seem like 1 shot. SMG's are smoking me even when I have a AR or LMG.

Maybe I just need to get back into BF style but it sucks getting rocked all the time

yea I get killed and i'm like where the F was that guy? And then I see where he was and i'm just like, "really?" I've just accepted that i'm going to die a lot.

The only time I really get frustrated is like you said, it seems like I die easily for a shot or 2 and meanwhile i'll run through an entire clip on a guy. I have gotten better since adding a laser sight but I still suck and it doesn't ruin my experience.

I know many wont agree but as far as shooting play some domination where the enemies are up in your face often. IMO that is the easiest way to learn how to shoot and win gun battes. Once you got that down winning gun battles on the larger maps are a breeze ive found because mostly everyone that plays Conquest Large are not used to constant up close battles. From there its just learning the maps.

TDM or Domination or ANY mode on Opration Locker will teach you how to shoot. Also experiment with different guns. I've changed my favorite gun about 3 times in this thread alone.

Yeah I don't bother with the in game battlelog, it's terrible.

The battlelog browser should now have a list that contains your playstation 4 friends currently playing. I don't have too many on origin, but it shows my ps4 list.

The only time I have seen the option to join someone with triangle, I also have them as a friend on Battlelog. Hopefully they fix this.

Have COD and really not feeling it as much, have two friends I usually run with and one switched to this game and the other doesn't play much. So for those with both which do you prefer the most? May make the switch to this

Lowering my sensitivity to around 12% has helped my shooting tremendously.

Played two sessions today. One was about 45 minutes of domination, the other 45 minutes of conquest. Very bad hit detection during domination, not much of anything to complain about during conquest. Hell I didn't even get a CE error.
