THIS. This was a huge help for me as well.

I still suck, but slowly getting better. I like to stick to the vehicles more often than not, destroying enemy vehicles, repairing friendly vehicles, driving / gunning in tanks, riding / repairing / gunning in boats and choppers.

That's what I really love about BF. Even though my k/d is ALWAYS going to suck, I can still contribute to the team, and often times still finish in the top 10-15 in score for the round, just by doing my best to be a good teammate and play the Engineer role as intended.

Is it so hard to use a PLD on the damn choppers? I'm sitting here with my shiny new Javelin and not one of my 63 teammates can do it?

Why do I need to pump 20 bullets into someone when everybody else can drop me with just one?

Because there is some really bad hit detection at times. Some sniper rifles do 100 points of damage, and some DMR rifles do 60.

I played a handful of games of Conquest on Locker to see if it would crash and I didn't crash once. Although there was some wild hit detection

I had it crash on 3.

This game is unplayable at this point. EA and Dice should be embarrassed by this mess. I can't remember a game that I've played that had this many issues at launch.

This was BF's chance to take control as the top FPS IMO. Instead they rushed and released a game filled with issues.

Game is crash city no doubt. When you can actually play its great but other than that I'm fighting to just find a match and pray it don't kick me off the servers

I used to play basically 3 PS3 games, NBA 2k, MLB the Show & COD. I had other games like UFC & Fifa and WWE in case I wanted a change but mainly i'd play my association in NBA 2k or Franchise in MLB the Show if my brother or our friends from Georgia weren't playing. When we played online it was mainly COD and then a little MLB at the end but we played COD every night to catch up with one another and we'd play it for hours.

I made the jump to PS4 on launch weekend so my brother had to get one as well but our buddies from GA didn't. I bought Battlefield because of the 32 vs 32 and videos I saw looked amazing so I wanted to try it. I also bought COD because that's what my brother was going to get and my initial reactions were Battlefield is freaking impossible and frustrating. But with COD it felt like the same game it's always been but with slightly better visuals. I get very bored with it real quick. But now my brother is hooked on NBA 2k so I can't even get him to play COD with me so I decided to give Battlefield more of a try. Now that i'm learning the game I love it. I love the variety with the vehicles even though I do suck at some of them. I like how huge the maps are in conquest and that not everything is so fast paced and games last 30 mins. I'm slowly getting better at the game and the better I get the more I enjoy it.

But my GA buddies are probably going to hop on board once MLB the Show comes out but they aren't the type that would want to get to learn Battlefield and appreciate the slower paced game. They prefer fast pace, in your face, small map action that COD provides.

Might have to try that. My biggest problem just seems to be spotting enemies. Granted there are tons of enemies out there so even if I see someone there's someone else who sees me, I'm getting better at the close action. I do get killed by snipers a lot but in that case it's pretty much

IMO that is the easiest way to learn how to shoot and win gun battes. Once you got that down winning gun battles on the larger maps are a breeze ive found because mostly everyone that plays Conquest Large are not used to constant up close battles. From there its just learning the maps.

TDM or Domination or ANY mode on Opration Locker will teach you how to shoot. Also experiment with different guns. I've changed my favorite gun about 3 times in this thread alone.
you're probably right but the main reason for me getting this game was the big maps and 32 vs 32 so when I do get a chance to play I tend to go with that.

That's what I like as well, I might finish a game with 5 kills and 15 deaths but somehow finish in the 10-15 range. It's just been an adjustment after being used to COD's style for so many years. It's 2 totally different games. COD is small, in your face, easy to spot enemies while Battlefield is large, wide open, realism.

Could be the weapons people use. I often get this feeling.

Are you just looking at a top down RTS style of the map the entire time?

It is a blast Phobia. You can change your perspective at a moments notice from the drone, to your squad leaders to what ever you wanna look at.Zoom in/out real time. You can even get on the mic to specific team members. Its awesome when they are actually PTFO. Its a lot of work to do it right but its cool. One of the other neat things is you can scan the entire map and pin point targets for your team. Its a spotters dream. lemme know how you like it.

BTW im on the xbox one.

Yeah I don't mind COD at times. I can't seem to get into ghosts, but I liked the black ops series. Sometimes I just want some mindless action so I turn to COD. BF has more replay value for me (when it works) but I'm not against COD.

Ghost is probably my fav COD in recent years but a lot of people don't like it for some reason. I didn't mind BO's 2 but did think it got boring pretty quick even though I got to prestige master lol

But I agree if I they could get BF 4 to even work half the time for me at least it would be a ton of fun
