Unlocked the FAMAS today. Oh man was it hard to control it. Struggling to get atleast a grip and a muzzle break

Change the fire mode to burst.

At the end of the day this game consumes my soul though. I love domination mode the best. Personally I'm not great with the vehicles so they annoy me to an extent...and admittedly it's purely due to me not practicing with the vehicles.

Yea I'm loving BF4!!! Domination has surprisingly become my favorite mode, but I'm also learning to like rush more. Kind of surprised both are taking me away from conquest more, but they just feel more squad orientated compared to how large conquest, which I don't feel as connected to.

If we were running the same number of people on Conquest I imagine it would be a lot of fun as well, but with the way that game mode crashes its not worth the risk right now.

keep at it...it may take a little bit but once you get it set up for you its nice...for me i just needed that scope and silencer and i've been fine

See and I'm the opposite: I play Conquest almost exclusively. I've branched out to Rush and Domination just a couple of times, tried Obliteration once or twice – and even then, those were just on the one night when I've had any major issues with Conquest thus far. (That night, I had a hard time getting into any rounds, and then twice in 3 rounds I crashed to XMB. This was the Friday after the China Rising release for Premium members. Haven't had many issues since then.)

It's so odd how some people are having a lot of trouble with Conquest, and some are having very few if any. Heck, the night that I was having trouble, my friend who plays also was having no issues at all. I haven't enjoyed Domination all that much yet, because I feel like I played enough of that in COD in the past, and admittedly I really enjoy using the vehicles. (Even just riding – I really like being a gunner in a tank, enjoy being a gunner in a boat. The tanks are really about the only thing I actually drive. I have yet to even attempt flying a heli or jet, outside of the test range). But, Rush I kind of enjoyed, although the rounds felt very fast compared to the Conquest games I'm used to.

Anyway – man, I really want to team up with some OS'ers sometime, but I have such a hard time breaking away from Conquest, and it sounds like a lot of you prefer other modes. I'll venture out at some point though.

I feel the same way as conquest is my fave mode and I play it mainly even though it runs poorly. I know domination is smooth as I've played it a bunch of times. The other modes in the game I haven't really touched yet. I am the opposite with the bad company games as I prefer rush more than conquest as rush was designed with consoles in mind. If they can get conquest smoothed out I'll be happy as that's where most of the problems seem to be.

Well I've found increasing my NSF has actually seemed to help with hit detection, but I'm still having some issues with it. Likewise, I cannot figure out why I'm so bad at this game compared to BF3. Seriously, I'm awful. Although being only level 6 and running primarily support probably isn't helping. I get the feeling the guns you get at the beginning of multiplayer are just awful.

Got to level 40, that was my goal today.
My K/D is improving, even though it's not paramount to me because I'm running around like a madman every round.

Is it just me, or does every update they release make the game a little less playable? I was having fun for a bit, but this most recent update has made me see some weird stuff.

This and NBA 2K14 are easily the biggest let downs of next gen for me.

Lowered the NSF to 20 and it helped some with hit detection, but I still get instances where I'm pumping guys full of lead with the FAMAS at close range with multiple hit markers, only to die and see their health is still full, or very close to it.

Very, very frustrating.
