This might be a dumb question, how do you tell which way is north,south,east, west in BF4? I don't seem any indication on the mini map and when someone spots an enemy, the guy says "enemy sniper spotted to your north" Where the hell is north?!

Based on your stats, seems like you use support the most. LMG's aren't very accurate on the move. Try out the carbines when playing modes like domination.

LMG's are really really good if you plop an Ergo grip on them. The MG4 or M240 rip anything to shreds at close range.

Based on your stats, seems like you use support the most. LMG's aren't very accurate on the move. Try out the carbines when playing modes like domination.

Assault is actually my preferred class, but I've been running Support off the bat to try and max level that first. It took me longer than both Assault and Engineer in BF3. I switched to a shotgun during that Domination match but still didn't have much success.

Actually there should be compass indicators on the radar in the bottom left of your HUD. Little arrows indicate N, S, E, W. Here's a pic to help (I've brightened the direction markers):

Been fooling with the shotguns, and I've always hated them when I was being killed by them, but they are a lot of fun on domination maps. I am a convert. Good times.

Wow thanks, I would of never seen those since they blend right in with the map.


In other news, on ps3 today the game froze on my about 7 times in a 2-3 hour span. Looks like it's not just next gen with problems.

This game would be great if the maps were better. Right now there is not just one map that i constantly want to play like in BF3.

I absolutely haven't been able to put this game down up until a day or so ago.

I seem to be having hit detection issues all of a sudden. I will shoot someone multiple times before they even see me or turn around and they will turn around and shoot me for a second and I die. And most of the time they have either full health or 80 to 90%

This is frustrating to no end. And is pretty much the reason I stopped playing COD. My k/d is already terrible and now this.

I'm so frustrated I've rage quit every game I've played over the last day.

I have yet to have one single good round on Dawnbreaker. I don't know what it is about that map, but I ALWAYS get my @$$ handed to me on that one.

Dawnbreaker, atleast on Rush, is my best map. I make up for it with how much I suck at anything on Locker. I do ok on Rush, but only if i'm defending and I can just spam grenades into the choke points.
