Actually there should be compass indicators on the radar in the bottom left of your HUD. Little arrows indicate N, S, E, W. Here's a pic to help (I've brightened the direction markers):

So it says "go north" and you go "southwest". I can live with the very infrequent audio information, but I have no clue how to use this map, and have the simple distraction not be a detriment. I see what I suppose are spotted enemies, but why isn't going UP north and going DOWN south?

Because up isn't always north, that wouldn't make any sense. If he's facing east, north should be to your left.


Let's say west is la and east is boston. You're in LA looking towards Boston. You wouldn't say to go north from la to reach boston.

Yeah, the maps could use some work. They have a nice layout for conquest large except for lancang dam. Damn AA can just sit at spawn shooting **** down.

They should make a map pack that focuses on Rush and conquest second. The bad company maps were amazing for rush.

I agree that's why I loved the bad company series plus rush was a mode made for the console. I rarely played conquest on bad company 2 as rush was better suited for that game. Rush felt like a mini conquest mode as it was a bit more open where you could take different routes to the mcoms. In BF3 & BF4 rush just feels to boxed in and tunneled as you usually hit the enemy head on.

I just won a CQ game with 3 tickets left. That was the most fun I've had in a while.

I just was in the same situation last night! We won with 3 tickets left and my party went insane.

I agree that's why I loved the bad company series plus rush was a mode made for the console. I rarely played conquest on bad company 2 as rush was better suited for that game. I can agree with this. There's still a few options to get to where you're going, but I wish there were a few more. It's very satisfying to hit the entire team and slowly break their line of defense though.

The Mark 11 isn't bad at range. With the angled grip and ACOG it's able to wreck people at 150-200m out. I've carried the team on Rouge Transmission multiple times on support running it.
