I actually play recon a a lot, but the fact there's people that try to snipe in tdm is utterly ridiculous. They don't realize how much they are hurting their team. At least on modes like rush recon can be useful when used correctly.

Now I'm not expecting everyone to be great at the game but it's just the real simple stuff that annoys me.
For example, the other day I'm the gunner in a tank and the tank gets into to a head on tank battle. I get out to start repairing him and since I'm repairing him if he just stands still there's no way he losses the tank battle. Yet he decides to drive away in some direction leaving me exposed and I die, then 5 seconds later he dies since there was no one to repair him....

I agree 100%,and what you described is EXACTLY the reason why I won't play objective modes with randoms.

Oh nice, good to know.

We do have a nice little consistent group. I see dookie, koolie, nuni, bob, and several others randomly playing most of the time but don't see them in our games to often. Get with the program guys

I see those guys in other modes a lot which is why I don't join on them when I see them on as I typically like Conquest and Rush with Rush being the most stable for me.

I'll see ND_Alum, Bob, TechWessel, and one or two other guys partying up for domination a lot.

Yeah, true. The con is that you can't heal on the move and you can throw the little ones a lot further to teammates.

Oh ya, the pack have their niche for sure but ask any high level and their favorite gadgets will be the SRAW and med box.

I'm up for playing Conquest or Rush (Mostly CQ) with you guys but I think I have just like 4 of you on my friends list right now.

I see several of them on often, but they are already in party/squad.

I feel odd just jumping into someone's party even if I know a few people in it. Usually Kev or someone sends me a party invite or I just make a party myself and invite any of you guys if I see you on.

I'm definitely a creature of habit, I try to play a bit if I can daily. So it's great when I see any of you on. I don't think I'd play nearly as often if I was lone wolfing it. I'm a social guy and it just makes games like BF4 so much more fun when we're chopping it up while playing.

Only thing that comes to mind is that they refresh faster and can be thrown farther?

I'm not sure myself because I only use the Box if I'm Assault. Box & Defib.

That's what I was telling Sausage (Disco Joseph)...there is never a shortage of players on BF4...we just have to make sure we all hook up and friend request one another.

Like you Bolt,I won't jump into someone else's party,I will wait for an invite or if nobody wants to party up,I'll play a few rounds of TDM.

Reminds me of good times with Dog and Chase at Kharg Island and Tehran in BF3...

*sigh* Miss you guys. Looking forward to gearing back up as soon as I can on PS4, when I get one.

Mobility and range. It may be a little faster too, I haven't seen any conclusive tests, but doesn't work under suppression or when hit.

I wouldn't classify those as advantages lol

The box gives an area of effect meaning an entire squad could benefit from the med/ammo box rather than just sticking it on one person to use

I agree. I think both the med packs and ammo packs need something to distinguish themselves from their larger counterparts.

Why the SRAW though? I always miss with weapons that use rockets that you can 'lead'. Can't see depth so im mostly making the turns too early

It sucks I go into work so early. Since I go in to work at like 4am I have to get some sleep before hand hense I miss all the Battlefield action with you guys. My next day off (Pretty sure its Sunday so Saturday night I can play) I would love to try to get a server full of OSers in a Party chat and the same game.

Even though I have fun playing with you guys, I have more fun hearing reactions to stuff. We have got to get on.

I haven't had success with it yet, but I think the advantage is taken if you shoot a missile straight into the air, load, and then aim and fire another one. The first one will come down on the top of the tank and the other will hit giving you two hits in a matter of seconds.
