I wish I could answer this. I still haven't been able to play it. I have it downloaded, but it keeps saying I don't have it.

I had to manually install them after I downloaded them

Yeah I think that's all it does.


Also about China rising, I only know for Rush they are awful. Can't comment about other modes.

What game mode is that?

Its not a game mode per say. Its an app.

In any game of Conquest, Rush, and Obliteration someone can hop on their tablet and play the role of Commander for one team.

You get an overview of the entire battlefield and basically help your team by sending missiles/gunships, dropping ammo/vehicles, awarding squad perks, spotting enemies, keeping your team off radar, and directing them provided that they actually follow your orders. Lol

You can play commander on the PS4 as well. Just join using square instead of X. It's really boring honestly, and the controls on the DS4 are clunky at best.

Is the China Rising DLC worth it?

eh not really...only like the peaks one

they need to get that on ps4 faster cause i dont play bf4 on x1 anymore i hate the controller

That would really tick me off. I would download it ASAP if I didn't feel like there was a possibility that I'm just inviting more frustration into the mix. Between this and NBA2k14 I feel like I have a 50% chance of walking away from my system pissed each time I play.

BF4 has really made me appreciate Bad Company 2 even more. It was simpler and to me much more fun. Since BF3 the fun factor has really been missing for me as they have made everything to convoluted. Another reason I prefer the Bad Company series is that it was made with the console in mind.

I like it. As someone that played bf2 for the PC I didn't really care for the simplistic view of BFBC2. You couldn't even pick the squad you wanted to join. You could tell it that you wanted to join one.

I feel they made BF4 logistically more complicated to play. It feels like they changed things for the sake of changing it and not necessarily to improve it. I am starting to get the hang of it but the game is not as approachable as BF3 was imo.

Battlefield 4

Does anyone play Hardcore? I searched for some and came up empty handed. I wanted to play some hardcore TDM.

Also I can't seem to play Capture The Flag. Does that mode not work?

I feel they made BF4 logistically more complicated to play. It feels like they changed things for the sake of changing it and not necessarily to improve it. I am starting to get the hang of it but the game is not as approachable as BF3 was imo.

Certain decisions are just odd and don't have a real reason for changing it.

1) Why can't I adjust my load out and character BEFORE getting in a match?

2) Why is the opening of battlepacks so hidden in every facet? Menu you got to go to MY Solider THEN to battlepacks, in game its the same thing. Why not just auto open or something when I receive it?

3) I still have not found out how to apply these "battlelog" pictures you get. So that is another confusing setup

4) The loadout screen!!! Oh why is it so complicated now!! The setting of vehicle loadouts is just plain dumb the way it is currently.

5) Description of items are also not very clear.

6) Location of things you can "activate" (Turn lights off in Operation Locker, brief case explosions) and destroy to cause "levolutions" (Supports on seige of shanghai). These things are not shown anywhere on a map, you just have to randomly stumble on them or be told.

Hardcore Conquest is what I play 99% of the time if I'm not on with OS guys.

I'm with you Phobia, I like them as well. But like Mike is saying I like playing mainly Conquest on them.
