I played my first few games as a Commander, but it seemed like I was missing a few things. They advertise cruise missiles and map scans, but I have none of those things available to me. Do you have to level up your commander skill tree or something? Does it vary based on the map? If it matters I was playing Rush, but I still don't see why I shouldn't have some of those things available to me.

Anyone play a lot as Commander and have any good strategies? Also seems like most of the people don't follow orders (not surprised there).

I was confused by this as well.

I think on Conquest, you have letters assigned to certain "weapons" at your disposal as commander. But you have to have that objective captures for it to be put to use. I THINK.

So say "C" is next to cruise missile. If your team hasn't capped C, the missile won't fill up and be ready to use.

That's my theory anyway. Lol

correct. Your team has to be putting in work. I think its fun. You can get lots of points. .......................

Anyone ever have those nights where you look one way, look the other way, then get shot in the back from the direction you just checked? Every death was like that for me last night and even when I was face to face with an enemy, I couldn't hit the broad side of barn.

I haven't done a heck of a lot of experimenting with guns, but I've definitely been playing a bit better lately now that I've been using the Aug. Love it.

And I saw first hand today why Bolt always goes to that room on the rooftops of flood zone. We had a round earlier where we just kept mowing down guys who ran in front of us or tried to get in. Easy kills. I had a pretty nice round.

My KD ratio has been improving, but as long as I have better rounds than RG I'm all good lol.

Wow it was worth doing the campaign for the M249. I have no clue how this gun hasn't been nerfed, mowing down people Rambo style.
Turn the corner and head on with 3 enemies? No problem just mow them down with my 300 rounds. Especially on operation locker the gun is so fun.

A few issues I've found since the patch dropped...

First and obviously is the audio dropping out. Second problem would be the constant lag which is making the game nearly unplayable.

I have premium on the ps4 and haven't received any double xp so far. Finally, where are these unlocked dmr's and shotguns?

I finding it near impossible to unlock the MP7. Everytime I shoot helicopters with a AA they either jump out, fly further away or go on the rooftops. I'm starting to get this screen constantly and its starting to piss me off:

Yea you finally see why I call it my room, I'm making a beeline for that mug once I spawn in. Eventually (sometimes) the other team can't stand it and they start coming really strong to take it from us.

And if they take that room from us...

I switch from claymores to the RPG and I destroy it, because we all know the other team will not have it if we can't lol. In case you didn't remember exactly, that map we played & won...

I'm finally at that point I'm getting better. I was all about the ACE 23 and assault class which is great for domination, but now I've graduated to large conquest, rush, and obliteration. My go-to setup now is Engineer with DMR RFB and Javelin + Slams.

Thanks to fellow OS'ers I'm FINALLY over 1.00 with my W/L ratio and my K/D is 0.912 which has been trending up for quite a while.

Question: what does "Skill" mean on bf4stats?
