LMGs have horrible accuracy while moving and also when you aren't bursting. I move all the time so i shoot circles around the enemies

Has anyone gotten a good configuration with LMG's? Outside of using a bipod, my accuracy with them is horrible. I understand part of that is by design, but it's to a point where I can only use them in special circumstances but never as a primary weapon. This is the first battlefield where I've had this problem.

I feel like I got used to them so much accuracy isn't a problem now. Then again I guess I have to keep in mind I had over 2000 lmg kills in bf3 and use it fairly a lot in bf4. I use the holo sight with the 2x magnification. I use either the m249 or mg4 and I can say their recoil is a lot more controllable than it was for the m249 in bf3. I put on a suppressor on it since staying off the map with an lmg on a flank is just "beast mode". Then I just slap a potato grip on it. One common mistake is DONT put on angled grip since lmg statistically have one of the lowest first show recoil in the game. Hip fire accuracy is terrible so never hip fire unless in a very desperate situation. Other than close combat use controlled bursts and just get used to the recoil pattern of LMGs like the m249 or mg4 which is really not bad at all.

I primarily use Stubby/Potato grip and Flash Hider on the LMGs and try to burst fire with them.

I don't use a lot of LMG but when I do I also like the M249 SAW.

I also use a holo sight (any of the 3 will do) and a 2X magnification as well. Suppressor and Potato as well.

I like how you can use football strategy in there. I was playing on metro our guy dropped the bomb heading towards their C - I picked it up, saw way too many people by C so did a reverse - ran laterally and armed A instead.

It got fixed, I believe. They rolled out a bunch of new servers, didn't require a client patch to fix. But that weird Obliteration mode will apparently be available at some point. It'll be called "Obliteration Small" or something like that


Last night on Firestorm was awful. We (Bolt, NDAlum, Lt Dan, & Jjaro) got pushed back to our spawn. There were enemies everywhere, all the time. So frustrating.

I did manage to score a super long distance tank kill tho. I was capping A and saw at least 3 snipers on the Gol Magnum tower. Fired a couple canisters at them and got hitmarkers. Then fired a sabot shell and got one of em on the first shot

Those guys were definitely well organized, on every map except Metro they pushed us all the way back to spawn. Metro we had the strong spawn side so although they pushed us hard, we won.

Had to leave that server/lobby to get that losing taste of out my mouth and log off after a couple of wins.

Dog, I invited Jjaro into our platoon, he's a good dude & just started playing BF4.
