No big deal to me. I never expected BF4 to look as good on PS4 as it does on PC. Things like 64 players are what excite me. Graphics will be fine.

Hopefully you PS3 BF vets will let me in your nights of BF fun on PS4

I haven't been a online gamer for a while but just feel I'm missing out on some fun.
Used to love the nights on GRAW and Rainbow 6 with the same guys.

Not at all. However when people start saying they are underwhelmed by graphics, I'm questioning what they are comparing it to...current gen, or high end pc. I think in this case it was the latter.

The game can look exactly like Battlefield 3 and I'll be happy.


I'm excited about revamped guns, classes, gameplay, etc.. that's the type of things that keep me coming back to Battlefield.

Its battlefield. In a year when I can actually afford a next gen system I'm buying this first. 64 players means more players for my bolt actions to take out. Of course by then everyone will know everything and I'll be playing catch up

As long as the destruction doesn't take another step back I'll be happy. Just want great maps, great sound (war tapes), and the 64 players is everything. BF absolutely shines on the PC, can't even be debated. Some of my best gaming memories are BF on the PC.

I have the rig to run BF4 on it, but I'm sticking with PS4. Just overall comfort, and ease beats out a little less gloss for me. But if you're a purist, sure PC all the way.

I am getting both the console version and PC version of this game so I am not too worried about the way the console version looks. Also you have to keep in mind the versions of the Console that we're displayed we're so restricted for the PS4 it wasn't even funny. The fact that they had only 16p, no vehicle, TDM boundary like map size for their new mode SCREAMS that it was no where near close to being optimized.


Oh and there's this thing called pre-alpha build, which DICE said that was the state of the PS4 version of it was in and said not to worry because they didn't have an optimized version to send to Gamescom at the time. That's what kind of irked me about the IGN interview, he clearly knew what state of the game he was playing and still kept "acting" worried and underwhelmed about a game he was told(He even said that he knew it pre-alpha) was restricted and somehow feel that we should be concerned. PC alpha version looks amazing and it seems consoles are a step behind in the process being that they were still in pre-alpha.


All that said, I'm still excited very both versions of these and can't wait to get my hands on them October 29th and then Nov 15th for my PS4 version.

Yep but I wish they'd cave in and add BOTS. They keep saying if they see interest in BOTS they'd add them...
