Yeah the SRR is the last rifle and it has by far the best long range stats. It's easy mode to use. It's much more rewarding to get kills with other rifles IMO.

BTW, top 5 overall weapons in that pic were AK5C, ACE 23, M416, ACW-R, and SRR-61. Followed by AEK-971, ACE 52, SCAR-H, MTAR-21, and AKU-12

I feel like user outweighs weapon stats in most cases.

I was excited for the SRR but seeing it on youtube I'm not even going to try and unlock it. I'll stay with the M40.

It seemed to take 3 shots to drop people and at times head shots weren't even registering. And the magazine is only a 10 count. Which isn't bad but with the scope jump and low damage it just seems like setting up for failure.

I'm excited about the new AR. I've been running medic a lot lately with OSers on since a majority roll support or engineer. I like being able to go into every fight 100 health.

My first impression of the Naval Strike maps (conquest only)

They are absolutely beautiful. I love the transition to sea to land and the maps seem pretty big. They have nice elements of close quarters combat with great spots for using DMR's/Sniper rifles.

Even though I've only logged a few hours this is easily the best map pack we've received. China Rising is something I never really play and the 2nd assault pack was pretty good.

I'm going to wear this map pack out

I'm surprised ssg isn't used much. I don't think I have 530 kills or whatever the requirement is, but I don't have 530 with a single weapon either. I don't know specific stats as it don't really look into that, but I thought it felt great to use.

Let's do an OS weapon popularity chart. Everyone post which weapons you have 250 kills or more with. Or if you have 200+ with it and are actively using it. I'll throw it into an excel file and make a similar chart. (Weapons only. No grenades, launchers, gadgets, etc). And no pistols

MTAR!!!!!!!!! It's the only gun I use.

I have 2888 kills with it and have used it for over 68 hours (as per Battlelog stats).

The ONLY weapon I have 250+ (271) on is my AK5C.

However, I think it might be unique that my second place weapon at 205 kills is my trusty PDW, the MX4. Great little gun w/silencer, very stable.

I'm just not a killin machine, I'm a support player, even when I'm an engineer. You guys hear me whoop it up whenever I get 10 or more in a round

Trust me you're gonna love the range on it (since you often snipe). I used it extensively this morning and was blown away at how well rounded it is. I really loved the range, I was killing a lot of enemies before they could get within effective range to kill me.

I was running the offensive kit, so I didn't have to rely too much on blueberries dropping ammo for me. Once you get to second tier you have well over 200 rounds in reserve.

I too will be running assault almost exclusively for a while.
