However I would like some additional maps and ability to spread things out more with you guys.

I'd say get Naval Strike, carrier conquest is awesome and the maps are great in general.

I'm telling you man, that game on the EA Test Server that me and Bolt played was fantastic. No rubberbanding at all.

A lot less netcode issues too. I actually felt the first shot from someone, and was able to get to cover. Usually, here's how it goes down:

      - see damage indicator (but no bullet hits)
      - 1-2 bullet hits
      - get to cover
      - more bullet hits while you are in cover, and you die

This is because you don't get notified that you are being shot right away. So you get hit with a couple bullets before you can even react. And by the time you get to cover, you've already been "hit" with the fatal shot on the enemy's screen.

I remember specifically when I was chilling in a jeep on Zavod, and was mowing down a bunch of guys running to B flag. One of them was Sawchuck. After I killed him he said he was totally behind cover. But he wasn't on my screen

I really hope this gets fixed soon because I know a good portion of my deaths are due to lag, I get killed by heat seeking bullets when I'm behind cover way too.

I still enjoy this game but it could be so much better.

That was one of the things me and Dog immediately noticed on the test server yesterday (operation mortar I believe).

When getting shot we'd run for cover and get around a corner and actually survive!

They're not meant for head to head engagements. At least not in my opinion.

Rubberbanding fix incoming! I really do hope it truly is a fix this time. The test servers have at least made me more optimistic about it this time. http://mp1st.com/2014/04/01/battlefi...-fix-incoming/

That sounds great but I do have a problem with some of the language being used.

Even DICE is “unhappy” with the recent troubles and is looking to alleviate them by upgrading server performance.
“Looking into this further, we’re unhappy with our server performance, so we’ll be upgrading the hardware as soon as possible, investing more to deliver a better experience.”
The end part is good info because it does say it's their "TOP" priority, but no specific time frame is given so it could be days, weeks, or even a month before we see any actual results.

“As soon as we know the exact timetable, we’ll let you know the ETA. Reducing lag for these players is absolutely a TOP priority for us to solve and we expect to have the solution very soon.”
I hope "very soon" translates to within the next week or two tops. I love the new maps, but the only reason we still run Vanilla or SA nightly is because of the rubber-banding. The second it's fixed we can all start to actually play regularly on those sweet maps.

On another note, as the resident LMG king I'd like to say that TMagic's suggestions on how best to use a LMG is quite sound. I basically play that way and it got me all those kills. You aren't really meant to be in the "thick" of battle, "running & gunning" with a LMG. Suppression is key as well as flanking the enemy from a good vantage point, basically "spotting & suppressing" is what you should be doing. At least until they get sick of your antics and decide to come hunt you down lol.

Don't get me wrong, on maps like Meat Locker or Metro enjoy yourself and have at it. Pick a solid choke point, lay down some claymores and unload rounds like a madman and you will often get enemies running straight into your kill zone like lemmings. I already have the AWS in the 7th position in total kills on my list of weapons at 532 kills.

                Battlefield 4

After the patch I have been playing around with different weapon configurations, I have found that with the exception of the Flash Suppressor or silencer. No barrel attachment is the way to go. I am only talking about Assault Rifles, carbines, and LMGs.

I am not back to being as good as I with before the patch but I'm at least back to a 2-1 kdr consistently

I like the new maps a lot because I feel like any class is appropriate, whereas some of the original maps aren't.

There is some rubber-banding issues though for sure. I wish I had a ps4, it's still fun playing with randoms, but I lose a LOT! and it seems my individual performance for the most part is negligible.

I wish I could take flight lessons! lol

That 900 rate of fire is no joke, it's an amazing close quarters weapon.

Whenever I switch it up and go back to the MTAR it feels like I'm playing on easy mode.
