Also I don't see what all the fuss is about with the AR160. It's a very average AR.

For the record I like the L85 just as much and the ACE is still a bit better in retrospect.

But the AR160 is far from average, the range it has is surreal. But you gotta have a decent aim to make it effective.

What's the point of having a platoon other than reppin OS?

We should get battlepacks or some upgrades for reaching max level. It seems like Dice put it in the game and don't know what to do with it.

I agree, I guess it's just to rep because we get no actual "reward" for leveling up the platoon.

I just went back 10 pages and didn't see anyone else who posted anything about this (granted it was only 4 days worth) and so I apologize if this is a re-post. But if it's not and I beat Dog to giving news I'm gonna be pretty hype.

New Loadout Presets, Premium Players can have up to 4 different Loadout presets (so a combat engineer (slams and RPG) vs. a tactical engineer (repair tool and stinger)). Rollout TOMORROW. Although I'm not 100% it will be for all platforms right away or for just PC. So yeah.

So while the AWS and AR160 are getting lots of love here, the best gun from Naval Strike is easily the SR-2. This PDW is absolutely beast mode, very stable recoil, great firing rate, deals good damage, and it has pretty decent range. If you have it unlocked, use it, if you don't then get it unlocked!
