Re: Battlefield 4
I think it has to be a code for consoles. How else would we start a download? I guess they can put the download on the marketplace for everyone, but only premium members can actually connect to servers. I don't think that would be the case though.

Re: Battlefield 4
There's no code or anything, you just download it, and based on your history, it knows if you can play it or not. Have to have BF3 premium or played Medal of Honor with that BF4 beta code in it.Comment

Re: Battlefield 4
Runs better without crossfire so far. Trying the new AMD beta that has BF4 profile. On one 7850, I was on ultra 1920x1080 at a solid 45 fps in domination.
Game felt a little heavier to me meaning movement seemed slower and had weight. Still the battlefield we all know and love.
EDIT::
Crossfire runs a lot better with the new AMD beta2:
Everything on ULTRA except for Terrain and Mesh quality on HIGH. 1920x1080 resolution with 120% quality increase (>100% performance better, loss of quality, <100% Great quality, less performance)
I am getting a solid 45 FPS with a low of 32 and high of 68 (Inside buildings where there is not much destruction going on)
I am sure it will be even better optimized come release. I am not a fan of the map that we have for conquest, every time I re spawn I am dead since we only have 1 base (I joined halfway through).
Destruction and particles are a hell of a lot better than BF3 but the graphics are not much better but the game is much more demanding. BF3 everything maxed out as far as it can go I was hitting 85-105FPS easy, this is due to the destruction, frostbite engine I guess as I said graphics really do not look much different, not sure if retail will change or not.
Overall, if you like Battlefield, you will love it as usual. I am having fun with it.Last edited by TheBleedingRed21; 10-01-2013, 09:58 AM.Comment
