WELL ACTUALLY, I did change the name and type because after the first 24 hours it had 0 participants of any kind (besides myself aimlessly wandering around Locker for ~5 minutes). It has pre-sets so I can change it back to that type+name right away when I'm off work. We should try to draw people in to it over this weekend with the double XP. It's hard to accept going into an empty server with like 3 others because you know it's going to be 2 v 2 for a little bit until bluberries and doritos hop on. Apart from 8 of us jumping in and then hoping blues & reds join, it's going to be difficult.

It would be easier to populate if it was an "Official" server because then anyone joining through Quick Join could be thrown into it, but that would mean only vanilla maps. I toyed with the idea of using all the vanilla maps but just the backwards rotation of what we're all used to. Anyone have any other ideas?

Locker and then Metro is just brutal. No thanks. I think I'd break something. Nothing like an entire team standing outside of a choke point, while getting hit with endless grenades, waiting for something to happen.

I'll be around this weekend.

As far as ideas go you could make the server "Official" for a week or so and see if you can get some regulars to bookmark it and then eventually make a change once you got a steady core.

By this time most people are up to date with all the maps. So I think you'd have good retention post change.

New server: "Operation Sports 200% Map Mix"

It's a ranked server (can't be open to Quick Match because of DLC's)

Obviously 200% tickets, map rotation goes as:
Locker
Metro
Guilin Peaks
Operation Mortar
Altai Range
Lost Islands
Dawnbreaker
Caspian Border
Golmud Railway
Flood Zone
Firestorm
Paracel Storm
Zavod 311

Only allows 15 maps on rotation. Dog came up with the map order. Everything is up for discussion and I am listening to anyone that has ideas or suggestions. Dog already suggested if we want to just get a million people in there go to 400% ticket, 400% time, Metro/Locker, and ban anyone who uses XM25's. I'm listening, folks. We have the server until Dragon's Teeth comes out.

I need to pick this game back up again. I gave up after I couldn't figure out how to get one of the map updates to download in addition to all the other janky nonsense.

Have they finally addressed most of the issues?

I was much the same, left the game for a while then came back after the network update and saw a really nice improvement. Last time I played was Sunday morning though and it was awful just like before the update, rubberbanding, shots right in peoples chest and no hit markers. Really frustrating.

This was on XB1 and there has been some XBL issues going on lately so maybe that had something to do with it.

I haven't seen anything remotely resembling rubberbanding in months. I'm on PS4 btw.
