I have been watching some streams and cant seem to stay away from them so, I am strongly considering to buy it digitaly ... then again, when do you guys think the next BF(5 ?) game will be out ?


Two cons tho

- As much as I have the urge to play it ... I mean, I dont want to invest cash on a game that will get its sucessor less than a year from now ... am short on cash, but specially been digital, am cautious ... however, any special offers ?

- My internet speed and stability is crappy, 5mb download a bit less than 1mb upload (thinking on download time)


So, didnt Hardline came out this year ? Is it probable that 5 comes out a year from Hardline ? Or would the next Battlefront be count as another BF game and 5 be a year after that ? Please post your comments.


Finally, for those with both BFs, If you have to choose, which one and why ?

BF5 will come out Fall of 2016 or early 2017.

If your on the fence about buying it now at full price then wait for it to go in sale. I picked mines up for $12 during Christmas on PS Store. Just debating if I should get Premium.

My connection is right around yours and for most of the time I play it, I only lag 10% of the time and it mainly because of someone else on the internet while I am.

Star Wars Battlefront 3 will not count as BF 5.

Speaking of premium maps - Since I have started playing this again the last few weeks, I have trouble finding games in the maps that didn't ship with my game. So not sure if Premium is worth it now or not.

Maybe I just had bad luck those few times or wrong game type.

i like both,premium. BF4 is very affordable right now and BFH is only 39 plus premium being another 50. Both fun games.

It took me 16 hours to download a 7Gb freegame from the PS4 Store and am afraid of what it would take me to download BF4, with all its updates and expanssions ... thats why am wary of going the digital route (not the lag, only game that noticeably lagged for me -on PS3 and PS4- is NBA2K).

Also, how many expanssions are there ? Are them like COD ones that if I recall right you could download separatedly ? How much is each ? I couldnt find any on the PS Store using my jobs laptop as I am away from home right now.

Could you guys give me your impressions and a little brief of each expanssion to see if it is worth it to pay for all of them or just some ? Are most people playing the new things or more the ones that came with the game ?

It took me almost 2 full days download it digitally which is the only problem.

There are 5 expansion with another on the way. They are all worth $15 superset or you could buy Premium for $50 and get them all that way.

I don't have premium so I can't give you my view on the expansion.

I'd get a hard copy for this if I were you. With all DLC and updates this game takes about 68GB, I'm glad I didn't delete it when I bought Hardline.

I have been playing this game since release and with MLB Show and TGC taking alot of my time, I do not play nearly as much. However, every time I do jump on BF4, it is a great experience. I love this game. Played last night (Hardcore mode) and had a blast. Seems like the servers are full of more experienced players, so team play is crucial to win. I played Hardline for about 2 weeks and switched back to BF4 and never looked back.
I am also looking forward to the new maps.

No I mainly play Hardline still, but I occasionally play BF4. I'm just looking forward to the community maps coming, as well as the 5 new weapons being added.

I have a group of guys I play hardline with daily though, it's still fun for us.

what exactly is the community map project? I know obviously its more maps, but is it anything more than them creating 3 maps or map ideas, and then they build a map based off the vote?

How many community Maps will there be?
