Haha nice.

I still remember my first BF4 match with Bolt, Jnes and some others and I was like 6-24 and had no idea what I was supposed to do in conquest. Fun times.

Oddly enough, that's how I feel playing the BF1 beta! I'm trying to play in a similar fashion to BF4 where I've had a decent amount of success and no matter what I do I finish middle of the pack. I've never been a high kill guy and I don't die alot either, but the emphasis in BF1 is PTFO which is what I try to do and have had no luck moving up the leaderboard.

it's so heavily focused on capturing flags, that one game that's all I did and I was the highest scoring player which never happens to me. The gameplay itselft was a bit weird doing it that way it was like running from the badguys all game, I went 6-12 or something like that.

Getting the train is huge as well since you just capture back and forth with relative immunity.

I don't really have a solution, but I wondered about much longer capture times, because that would create major firefights and have most players battling over 1-2 flags while a few rogues capture flags no one is paying attention to.

For example, in bf1, the c flag which is the most popular - if it took twice as long to capture, it would feel more like war, than a hit and run...for some reason bf4 is more like 'war' and i have no idea why really.

Well, the bf1 beta got me jonesing to play this again. Reinstalled the game and pulled my profile down from the cloud. See you on the battlefield!

I'm hoping the same. Played a whopping 5 minutes of Hardline before I said Yea, F this game...after BF1 I can't touch that game. And I liked Hardline!

The thirst is real for BF1.. Going to give BF4 a go this weekend.

BF4 is still the G.O.A.T., at least until BF1 releases, and the servers are stuffed full of people. Typically waiting in queue to play my favourite ones with a squad of 3 or more.

Yea yesterday me and Rez went back to our daily Hardline sessions.

BFH is actually slow in comparison to BF1 lol. BF1 is def a ton faster in movement & shooting mechanics. People may not realize it but BF1 is actually faster/twitchier than BF4 and BFH.

I also got spoiled with the FOV slider (90 for me). I feel so confined in what I can see around me in BFH & BF4 now. It's so constricting, I hated it after playing BF1.

It can't come soon enough.

FOV slider is something I hope ALL console shooters implement. Its an awesome thing that PC guys have had forever

All DLC packs are free for PS4 and Xbox right now.

That should make the traffic on those a bit larger. I felt like I could find a ton of games during base game, but the DLC was a bit harder to find full rooms/games.

PS4 also? That's great. I thought it was just for Xbox 1 because of EA Access. Every BF4 DLC free on ps4 sounds crazy.
