For those having the miss rankings/unlock problem. I had it and just restarted the game and everything was back

I am hoping to be on later. I had a ton of trouble getting in witb OS'ers last week. It would say I was next in que and when I got into the game, no one from OS was on either team. I had it happen twice.

Justic, JNES, Bmore and Koolie G and I were absolutely on a run tonight. That's the way the game should be played. Good game gentlemen, sorry I left abruptly, the game booted me!

I'm a bit sad with the way BF4 has gone. I was hoping the new maps would bring me back in but its just not for me. I ended up installing Project Reality on BF2 and its been insanely fun with the cooperation and little skirmishes rather than the constant TDM feel.

Just had a 5 hour run on BF4 on 360. My 4 buddies and I dominated a squad and it was insane. Only one freeze, smooth as can be. When I get a One at some point I'll have to hop in with you OS'ers.

In the meantime I'll be patrolling the 360 with my boys. So much fun when the game functions properly. So much fun!

Same here, quite a few OSers and I were staying close to one another and holding down huge sections in Conquest most of tonight.

We were on a tear I might say. Good gaming tonight guys, I had tons of fun.

I look on the bright side, it's fun killing the other team with a inferior weapon.

The maps IMO have gotten weaker over the years. I loved the BF2 maps, and even the redux of them in BF3. The BFBC2 maps we're also very good except for a few. As far as the BF4 maps or Rush

Ones I like:

Dawnbreaker: I'm surprised about this one because I thought it would be a snipe fest, but it's not. You got some long range stuff, some CQB, some vehicles, but not one thing dominates it.

Operation Locker: Not sure why there's so much hate for this map but I absolutely love it. Sniping and vehicle whores need not apply. I love the brutality and chaos of it all. It's the one map I don't have to worry about the the guy trying to go 4-0 from the other side of the map. Aggressive play is rewarded here.

Lencang Damn: Again variety. Some vehicles, some long range fighting, some CQB. Plenty of room to flank as well. I think the map is extremely balanced as well.

Siege of Shanghai: I guess I'm a sucker for Urban warfare ever since Strike at Karkand.

Rogue Transmission: As long as your team is aggressive you will get that first set of objectives. Spawn beacons are huge here on offense. The set of objectives "under the dish" I am not a fan of but the other sets are fine.

Zavod 311: I love this map. It has an older school feel to it. Plenty of room to flank, tight quarters fighting, some vehicles, some really tough objectives to take but very doable. And lots of trees to hide behind lol.

Maps I'm "meh" about

Hainan Resort: I'm fine with this map after the first set of objectives. But on Rush too many attackers sit in that middle island. These objectives need everybody hitting at once. Some games after I've died 10 times trying to make it to shore while the rest of the team sits back I just whip out the old sniper rifle and practice. I love the third set of this map though. Just with they would balance that first set better.

Golmud Railway: I'm warming up to this map but it's too vehicle heavy for my preference until the end. It's one of the few maps where IMO the attackers have a huge edge until the very last set of objectives when it's pretty much nothing but house to house fighting with no vehicles. Again this is just preference but I don't like the tank sniping/regular sniping maps as much. Although I've been going in the tanks more and trying to embrace it. Still this map overall is kind of boring to me.

Flood Zone: This map just never feels right to me. I don't mind the second set of objectives when it's CQB with ton's of routes to the objectives. You gotta watch your corners. But the first set kind of sucks especially when with a team that wants to sit back or ride their vehicles up the onramp. The AA makes way too quick work of the Little Bird....just too hard for the attackers in the beginning. Then the whole swimming and pistoling eachother at the last set really is kind of stupid to me.

Paracel Storm: I like this map the least. It feels like Wake Island all over again from BF2. I don't like any set of objectives on here. Maybe the 2nd set but the rest I don't. There is no flow to this map IMO. Again a passive team is done for on the first set. I'm amazed at how few people use spawn beacons. I don't even like this map on Domination.


I think that's it. Again these are only Rush perspectives.

Well, this BF4 noob played for about 4 hours straight tonight, and had a blast. (Butter smooth the whole time). Had so much fun, it didn't even seem like 4 hours. Played with nothing but randoms, but had some good games, and flashes of teamwork, surprisingly. Died alot, but as I kept playing, my kills were going up too.

Playing the Engineer class while I'm learning the game, mechanics, & maps. Want to progress in it and get some of the good unlocks.

Really looking forward to playing with some OS'ers and have some chat/teamwork going on.

I'm officially hooked.

Probably had my most consistent night with OSers last night in Rush.

Throw out my 1-10 on Hainan and it was a good one.

That'll be the last time I ride shotgun in a boat with bluengold34 driving though.

You were doing work man! I sucked balls. I don't think our team was necessarily bad. I just think that the other team was being lame staying in the same spots the whole two rounds on the same damn map.

It was actually nice having someone to revive you. I swear that Ive played about 5 hours and have only been revived like 3 times. You revived me about 10 times in our 30 minutes of action. Lol
