How do you know what the game is recording?

I had one of my best moments happen...

I was on Zavod at C. I see orange all over the place in the building. No enemies. Check the "basement" no enemies. Picked up that the objective wasn't burning. Said "they must be on the roof. How annoying." I go to the roof. Nothing. I'm like "All of them can't possibly be just sitting all the way up there."

So I check it out. The hatch was closed. I shoot it off with my suppressed ACWR. Then climb on up....Kinda. For whatever reason as I got close to the top, I couldn't get off the ladder. So I had to climb down and try again. Lol

Anyways, I get to the top and there are legit 6 guys up there with a transport chopper. To my luck, NO ONE is looking at the side I climbed up from. I take out two guys with the ACWR. Managed my bullets almost perfectly, as one dude turned around and I dropped him just as he faced me. Clip is empty.

No ammo. No problem for Magic. Little do they know that my ACWR is actually my sidearm. Whip out my knife.

Tags. Tags. Tags.

6 dudes in about 15 seconds. Then I turn around and see some guy I must of missed or spawned in their chopper, looking for me.

Tags.

Then some other dude ends up on top too, again, not really sure how...

8 guys, 5 tags, in about 25 seconds. Destroy the chopper and I just stand their overlooking the landscape of battle all alone on top of my perch.

I'm like, "I gotta show the fellas this!!!" Hit share and the video didn't record a single minute of it. I was so pissed.

All good, Dom...I believe you. Incredible story, man!

I am still so impressed with how far you've taken your BF game since we both were BF3 noobs back in the day. Now you're a tag-takin' fool.

I'm disappointed that my game didn't elevate like yours did, but I'm pleased with my BF4 campaign thus far anyway. The best part of playing is playing with you and the rest of the great OS Crew anyway.

Dan, you always down your play man but honestly I give you a lot of unspoken credit when we're winning games. IMO, our squad has different dynamics. Some can go head hunt, others are great side men who clean up and others play their class to allow those other parts to stay in play. Quit downing your game!

I learned in the xbone forum you just say "xbox record that" and it grabs 15 seconds prior - It will also randomly record clips as well.

I know you have ps4, but thought I'd mention for anyone else with an xboner.

I've missed some great moments (not quite like yours) at times because it's late and I can't yell record with the woman in bed.

BUT over the past couple of days I had some great moments, one I recorded where I picked up the battle-pickup sniper on china rising, and started uloading on a chopper since it does some damage. The driver got freaked and jumped out and started to parachute and I picked him off in one shot and his dead body fell beyond the trees in the horizon right in front of a beautiful sunset lol

On that note, I've really started to play all non-recon classes intensively lately, but pickup the sniper when I pass it since it's my best strenth when it comes to getting kills. So recently I've been engineer a lot to pick off choppers and jets via bazooka, and lay down mines for tanks, but also once in a while get to pad the stats taking people out sniper style at range.

I do find unlocking non-recon guns to be a grind. I have all the snipers and service star for like 6 of them, but only 2 LMG and 2 Carbines. You really have to be a 25-35 kill guy a game to crank through those guns, and I"m more in the 8-14 range. Sniper being my best at .62 per minute (and climbing).

I really like shooting down choppers though either with AA or Bazooka's since I find guys that are crazy good with them are usually the best players in terms of score and kills on either team. Some of them are unbelieveable with their control.

Don't be mad but my very first uninhbited thought was an a-hole remark about our differences in next gen consoles...

To be honest though, you wrote it out so well, the video wasn't necessary. I knew exactly where you were talking about the whole time.

Battlefield 4

Man I had an epic moment today. I wanted to post a YouTube video but my PS4 recorded the match before this one.

On Rogue Transmission, the game just started. I rode the quad bike on top of the dish, and then launched it onto that roof at E flag. But at the same time, a sniper sniped the C4 on the buggy, launching me onto the crane. Perfect landing. Then I see the attack helicopter coming straight for me. I whip out the rhino and snipe both the pilot and the gunner with it. I see it floating down so I jump off and somehow was able to steal the chopper. But as soon as I got into it, the attack jet was on me. So I jump out of the helicopter, throw some C4 down and blew up the jet from mid air. It was like something out of a Michael Bay film, wish I could've shared it.

EDIT: Forgot to add. After I parachuted down finally I landed on top of a tank and KNIFED the driver.

Well my video recording seems to be working OK.

Spawn and then immediately get an RPG chopper multi kill. (This was even with my broken controller)
