This. I have a lot of favorite series, but nothing, including the sports category, can compare to following the series across 6 different platforms (soon to be 7 with a new retro-style FF on the way for mobile, and it looks right up my alley).

Metal Gear Solid would have to be an uncontested 2nd. Uncharted, Star Ocean, Kingdom Hearts, Xenosaga are up there as well. Hot Shots Golf and The Show fit somewhere too, but it's pretty much impossible for me to compare across genres.

I don't have one at the moment. Used to be Zelda, but I never purchased a Wii and haven't played the last 2 games in the series.

I've enjoyed plenty of new series this generation, but I don't really think I have one that I love like I used to when I was younger.

Final Fantasy.

Hard to go wrong with this. I've played every one since 6, and I've also played 1, 2, 3, and 4 as well. I have loved pretty much every installation of the series, although 13 and 13-2 weren't quite what I expected. However, I did enjoy both games a lot...only thing I didn't like, was the ending of 13-2. Anyone who's played will know what I mean .

The Kingdom Hearts series as well, which is also a Square product, is another one I absolutely love. However, all the games outside the main console versions have been pretty bad (IMO of course haha.)

Since I switched to PS3, I'm praying Square does an HD remake of FF7...I'd throw so much money at them.

Uncharted, God of War, and Shenmue are the first three that come to mind.

I could add almost any PS3 exclusive in there though....Infamous, Killzone, LBP, etc are all fantastic.

The Batman Arkham games are also fantastic, and if we ever get a second Red Dead, that will immediately be a top three for me.
