Hard to go wrong with this. I've played every one since 6, and I've also played 1, 2, 3, and 4 as well. I have loved pretty much every installation of the series, although 13 and 13-2 weren't quite what I expected. However, I did enjoy both games a lot...only thing I didn't like, was the ending of 13-2. Anyone who's played will know what I mean .

The Kingdom Hearts series as well, which is also a Square product, is another one I absolutely love. However, all the games outside the main console versions have been pretty bad (IMO of course haha.)

Since I switched to PS3, I'm praying Square does an HD remake of FF7...I'd throw so much money at them.

Yeah I'm not sure I like the way FF is going in terms of the battle, I prefer the old school ways that 10,7, etc. have. 10 was my favorite so can't wait for the HD remake, don't think we'll ever get 7 just because it'd take so long.

Forgot about Kingdom Hearts, those were great games for the PS2. Hope they too get the HD treatment soon and then make a 3rd.
