The most I do is throw my controller straight in the air which is unfortunate because my ceiling is made of soft-ish stuff so now my ceiling above my chair has about 10 little wedges in it from the controller.

Re: Rage Much?!?
I have no problem saying I broke a Controller back in the day because I was/got upset over a game(can't remember off the top of my head which game it was but I think it was Madden)but by no means that mean I or anybody else need anger management classes or that I have Anger Management issues or that I or anybody else will or have taken their frustrations out on another person.#RespectTheCultureComment

Edit: and no, I'm not saying that anyone who has broken something has anger issues but at the same time, I can see why someone would wonder how people deal with their anger if they get that mad at games.Last edited by jmood88; 08-03-2012, 10:27 PM.Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment

My friend was telling about the time he got the angriest at a game. He said it was a scooby doo game on the GameCube when he was in the 6th grade. There was a level in a fish factory where you had to swing over a jump and he kept missing it or falling and dying. He yelled and screamed and threw stuff. I laughed so hard.PS4 Twitch: http://www.twitch.tv/candyman5os

Re: Rage Much?!?
MW2, man I could not stand that game. I played a lot of it though, and got all the way to 7th prestige before I just could not take it anymore. Anyway, one day I was playing and I got commando knifed(worst thing ever put into a game), so I took off my turtle beaches and threw them across the room breaking off an earpiece(it snapped back together later though so no big deal), then I threw my controller at my wall and it broke completely and wouldn't re-connect, then I ejected MW2 from my xbox, put it in its case, and drove to gamestop and rage sold it. That was probably the worst case of video game rage I've had, CoD is the only game that has ever really made me rage, hence why I don't play it much anymore.Comment

Re: Rage Much?!?
Easily the worst I've ever gotten pissed P.I.S.S.E.D at a game was NBA2k12. It was some team in the legends showcase, I lost 5 times straight. I ejected the disc, threw it across the hallway followed immediately by my PS3 controller. I've weight-lifted for quite a few years and the controller flew faster than a Favre pass lol.
For console? LMAO. As soon as I got my 360 in Iraq, I plugged it in...of course I didn't have the right power adapter. I was so pissed! I talked my buddy into taking it out next time his patrol left base and I got to use the 50 cal the next day for "test fire".

Re: Rage Much?!?
I feel like I played the same game and had a damn good time playing it at the time.
I like yelling or what not when I get frustrated, stops it form building it up more so I can then concentrate on not sucking. As long as I don't break another controller too expensive to do that by accident againSaints, LSU, Seminoles, Pelicans, Marlins, LightningComment

Re: Rage Much?!?
Tried playing Sorcery tonight and a short while into it you had to curve a shot and hit this switch and after 10 minutes of trying to get the shot to curve it just REFUSED to curve and hit the thing, although they would hit everything else on screen curved shot or not. So I calmly exited the game, deleted the game data, ejected the disk, turned off the PS3, packed the game back into it's Gamefly envelope, and put the move controllers back into their drawer..a stream of obscenities flowing from my mouth the entire time.Comment

I've thrown multiple controllers, broke some remotes, and shattered a couple of glass cups..... MW3 is the cause for most of the damage.Boston Celtics

I would hope that most adults could keep from throwing and breaking things while participating in something that is entertaining. I'm not sure why it's so outrageous to you that someone would question how you handle yourself in everyday life if you're getting so upset over something that doesn't matter and that you did for entertainment.

Worst case of rage was a roommate in college. Now that dude had anger issues beyond gaming. Beat him on a pick 6 in OT playing Madden 06 and he threw his half eaten apple against the window. Shattered the window and apple and glass was everywhere. That was the last year I lived with him haha.
I've only broken one controller in gamer rage, but probably 5 mics playing Halo 2 back in the day.Comment

Re: Rage Much?!?
My go-to situation is the time I was playing the Superbowl in Madden and my defense stopped the CPU in the endzone on a very long pass but it called pass interference.
I grabbed the disc, attempted to snap it in half but it bent. I then brought it into the kitchen and was bending it back and forth over the garbage. Talk about a rage fail.Being kind, one to another, never disappoints.Comment

I watch sports for entertainment and yell at my teams when they do something stupid but that doesn't mean I'm going to go yell at my kids or hit my wife.
