does 419 million trickle down to segasport's current development studios ? How about marketing? Will see some new games added to the lineup?

Sammy Corporation. Their developer HQ is based (as of now) here in San Diego.

From their website: "The company has already published a number of hit titles for home video game systems, including the jet combat action game Lethal Skies for PlayStation 2, the first title from SNK's classic fighting series, The King of Fighters , for Game Boy Advance, and games based on the mega-popular Guilty Gear franchise in multiple formats. Sammy Studios is releasing two action titles for the PS2 in February 2003; Guilty Gear X2 , the second PS2 title in the series, and Galerians:ASH , the sequel to the "survival horror" classic that debuted on PlayStation. "

woulda been cooler if it was Sammy Sosa, but I do wonder how/if this will affect Sega's operations...is it just a shareholder type thing, or are changes involved
