Hi I work at a a gamestop part time and you were fed a bunch of BS... First Bungie HAS NEVER given a release date and as they state... "It will be done when it is done"

EB and Gamestop are simply giving an estimage, just as both did when they had it as a December release a few months ago.

Second there is no such thing as an Official Pre Order after a Pre-Pre order... You put down $5 on a game at any time, you have Officially preordered it.

When you reserve a game at a gamestop it has the date on which you pre ordered. If a store reserves more games then it will be getting, it will be done by date. Our store is still saying that if you preorder it will be first shipment but they have no idea.

That's what I assumed. I think I pissed the guy off because I said, "Dude, HALO 2 doesn't even have a release date...and Gamestop doesn't really know the meaning of Release Date anyway."

If they served fries, I think he would have spit in mine.

completely unrelated, but at a mall near me they had a "Hotdog on a Stick" restaurant in the food court. They made the teens that worked there look like clowns, with a stupid hotdog hat, and red, yellow, and blue outfit. I just laughed at them
