I never asked for your opinion. I simply posted a news bit from gamespot. You replied to the thread with a generalization.

I know I am not the only person who works at one of these stores on the site.

Now that we have the site rules that you agreed to out of the way... As an employee of a gamestore we get discounts on games, along with the ability to check them out. No PC games = no more discounts/checking out games =

to me.

Of course there are numerous people who purchase their PC software via EB and Gamestop because they are the first to get most games and carry games other places like Best Buy do not online or in stores.

For example a new release

Now for games that came out in December that are both available at EB Games and Gamestop..

RC Cars
Ford Racing 2
Airborne Assault - Highway to the Reich

Whoops none of these games are available for purchase on the PC at the Bestbuy website... Are they even available in the stores? Pretty cheap on the wallet when you can't even buy these games.

I could continue with numerous examples but it seems pretty clear to me. You see not everyone lives in a big city with a Best Buy. Some reply on these gamestores to get their games that BIG CHAINS WHO CARRY EVERYTHING FROM APPLIANCES to ZIP DRIVE. I guess that is why they (EB and Gamestop) are called Specialty Stores. So it would be a scary thought to those people to not be able to access it anymore.
