I can't get my headset to work though? Its a "TALKNET" model, and it says "made for socom"... But I can't get it to work, is there something I need to do? Install software? Go to Options? Etc? Because I also can't hear other players speaking into their mics.

there's nothing you need to install besides plugging the headset in, on some routers i've heard you need to forward certain ports to get the mics working. i'm curious, what's everyone's rank? i'm around 13,000

Well, the headset has worked for Madden, but in the few games I have played I can't talk or hear anyone talk on SOCOM. Do you have to go to options? Or unmute people? or what not?

You may have to reconfigure your router if you have one...i've also heard complaints about certain headsets not working on Socom II...you should try the original logitech headset that came w/ Socom I or the sony/logitech USB headset...those work well!!

Well I realized why I sucked. I was playing with highly skilled people, which is the reason why my rank was so low. I went into an ensign room and kicked some butt. When I was finished playing my game my rank went up to 210,000.

As for the clan invite, I may or may not accept. I kinda like being an individual.

The thing is.... I have now played 8 complete games...

And I have not once heard anything coming from my headphones online. How often do players talk?

But it works for Madden online, and when I play single player for SOCOM it registers that I'm talking, but I can't get my men to respond or do what I tell them. Or so I think.
