I find the game to be on the easy side playing solo. I could only imagine if I played with 2 other people all the time I would have been beat the game already. As it stands now, I am almost done with the game. Sniper rifle + head shots = you will go through enemies like a hot knife through butter.

Thats when you implement the house rules to challenge yourself my dude. I just did the mission on the russia level at hard difficulty solo, and that boy took me like 30 to 45 minutes to beat, and that was AFTER I got to the boss who was holding the piece to my ship. Two random guys came in with sniper scopes just rushing the enemy and killing em a bit too fast (in my opinion), then they rushed downstairs and I think they got killed by that boss because they just disappeared by the time I got down there.

I stuck with the standard assault rifle and grinded it out. MAJOR firefight!!! I usually stick with the weaker weapons to make it extremely difficult on TOP of the difficulty level. WAY more satisfying. I think the devs should make it extremely difficult to level up actually

This game is lucky that I really like the gameplay because my god do I not care about the story.

Maybe if they showed me the story instead of just having Tyrion tell it to me. It's like being read a book.

Don't get me wrong, it's very good and I like it, I just couldn't care less about the story.

Yeah the story, along with Dinklage (which, it is better than alpha) are very underwhelming.

Not that I expected anything on either front.

Single player is alright so far. Would be nice to have a change from the run to point on the map, put Dinklage in some computer, and fend off enemies until he's done. Don't really care about the story either though. The gunplay is really good so far though, like any Bungie game. Wish there was more loot drops though, feels like I'm not getting enough new weapons to keep upgrading. I've had the same primary weapon for a few levels now.

Game really shines in multiplayer though. Taking down people in 3-4 shots with the hand cannon gives me that nostalgia of the Halo 1 pistol.

Where is this soccer and stuff that you guys were talking about?

Just got done doing the first few Earth missions with a friend of mine. I really do love the gameplay. The Warlock's grenade is so sick and I just unlocked the Void of Light or whatever it's called.

It's not really soccer in the traditional sense, but you find a big purple ball on the Cyprtarch's table. You can kick it around and head it. It's a nice time waster.

When I was a level 5 and my buddy was a level 6 - the first moon mission was hard. We died 4 or 5 times. It was nice.

ive actually seen both a soccer ball and the purple balls in one of the socials before granted this was back on the beta

The soccer ball spawns by the boxes to the left of like the mail person (forget what they call that one, the one whose stall faces the bounty guy). By the stairs to the balcony. At least in the beta, haven't been in game yet.

Got booted out my first time playing in the crucible. Frustrating because I was finally getting the hang of it, just did a double kill and everything.

yeah man good times. that was the first time I spent a good amount of time in the Crucible. the maps are nice

Almost to level 13 now. Just collecting bounties and trying to complete them as I go.

I only entered the crucible in order to complete a few bounties (kill 20 hunters/titans, win 3 matches, play 5 control matches, etc.), but wound up having a blast. I thought I'd suck, but I've actually been the high scorer on my team in most matches. I've been in a couple of good groups of randoms that actually work together to cap objectives.

I really need to hop on with you guys at some point for some crucible action, as REAL communication and teamwork can't be replaced.

The only crucible I've enjoyed playing (played all 5 for whatever random bounties I have) is the Control ones.

Such a blast. Thought I'd mostly stay out of the PVP stuff, but it's fun.
