Re: Destiny
My only real complaints about Destiny are these:
1) Story is lacking. I know we have those Grimore cards but 90% of people are too lazy to go online and read them. Half the time when I was doing the "story" missions I had no idea why I was doing them. Plus I had no real connection with the characters. I didn't feel like I knew my character or knew anything about the Ghost. Heck I barely knew anything about the Traveler.
2) 95% of the missions are the same. Defend your ghost from 3 waves of increasingly difficult enemies then end with a mini boss battle. Would love to have some puzzles or something that make you think instead of just shooting everything you see.
3) Would've loved to see a bit more depth when it comes to the characters skill trees and skills in general. Not something over the top like Skyrim but something with more depth that allows to me truly create a character that's similar to how I like to play.
Aside from that I'm very pleased with Destiny I've enjoyed it a lot both PvP and PvE. Core gameplay is fantastic. Movements and gunplay are top notch.
I'm interested to see what the DLC is like. Will it be PC MMORPG like where it's a legit expansion or will it be like your typical console DLC where they give you a few new missions, new guns, new maps and call it a day? I'm hoping it's the first option. Expand on the story, give us entirely new planets to explore and such.
