Finally got my first Legendary item! Armor for my hunter, got it from the moon just doing patrol missions.

Wow, some of the upgrades for these legendary weapons are just sick. I just picked up a sniper where I can shoot Ammo crates and it will give me the ammo so that I don't have to run up to them anymore.



Just joined the New War Cult faction or whatever that one is called so that I can focus on increasing my intellect and discipline. Just gotta work on getting my rep with them up now.

Welcome to the FWC. I have the FWC Scout Rifle it is my favorite weapon so far, and the chest armor.

I need to spend some time on Venus to get some spirit blooms to upgrade my armor.

for me, I didn't really "join" the New Monarchy. I just found a legendary engram and it was a New Monarchy hunter's cloak. You can buy them from their vendors as well.

while wearing it, I believe all vanguard/crucible reputation goes toward that faction's reputation instead.

2 are in the shipyard/dock, New Monarchy is in the area next to the Speaker

At the tower, if you go to the two other branches (where you can find the Speaker and where you can find the Shipwright), there are I believe 3 faction leaders that you can talk to, and if you have enough Glimmer, you can buy a belt from them that will put any XP you earn from bounties towards leveling up within their faction. The armor that each faction sells focuses on two of the three bonus things (intellect, strength, and discipline).

Edit: basically what the poster above me said.

And the three factions are Future War Cult, Dead Orbit, and New Monarchy, so you can look up their locations on the map at the Tower.

I was doing the same but she always had the same four. However, I did get 2 or 3 new ones over the weekend. I got one from playing in the Crucible and the others were either through picking up drops while farming or a reward for completing a mission (I forget).

That lady is a waste of time LOL

ran the raid with Candy and a few others last night. I believe we got up to the end boss before we gave up for the day.

A few guys got some Legendary weapons at different points in the raid. I got mostly Asendant shards(5-6 I think), which is what I needed for some armor upgrades. I didn't get much other drops though.

As for the Raid. It's different. Parts seems to be unnecessarily difficult, but once we got the pattern and strategy, it wasn't too bad. Expect to die very often though.

That's not just a legendary thing, I have a blue sniper with that trait. Unfortunately, it's not as useful as it sounds, you don't get good cover when you might really need it (like boss fights) and other times it is just much easier and quicker to just run down and collect the ammo.


It also has the armor piercing trait, which is pretty nice, bullets pass through the first enemy they hit.

That's sick too. I wish I had paid more attention to some of the upgrades these weapons had before I decided which ones to keep and which to scrap for weapon parts.

I know a friend of mine also has a shotgun that gives you your bullet back if you kill someone with it, so he basically never has to reload his shotgun.

I have a level 3 Titan that I started a little over a week ago. Wouldn't mind breaking away from my level 24 Hunter for a change. Besides I have a juicy little legendary piece of armor with his name all over it that I got while farming with my Hunter, hahaha!

I need to look at that Dead Orbit stuff! Currently running with the New Mon group. Might switch over since I haven't leveled up all that much.
