Its a interesting game that has a ton of potential in the future. It does however, require a lot of uninterrupted time. This can be a pain if you have other people in your life that require your time at a moments notice (i.e.: Kids).

It looks like it could have legs, and getting into a raid/strike with a good crew is loads of fun.

Not being able to pause the game is a bummer, when I play I tell my gf I shan't be bothered for a couple hours. She generally gets pissed and the two hours is a good amount of time for her to cool off so in the end it works.

If this game had the same quality story and mission design as the halo series, I would say yes its a must buy. But like many reviews have said, the things bungie have done well in the past seem to be lacking in this game.

Outside of team events, you can always find a cave or corner where enemies won't go to hide. If you are going to be away long enough to time out, pin the sticks in a direction so you keep moving, I stuck a playing card between the sticks and it made me spin in place and didn't time me out.
