I hadn't played in almost a week due to Shadow of Mordor. First 10 minutes playing last night and had 3 blue engrams drop so things were looking good. I had yet to ever run a weekly heroic as the people I run with a lot always finished it early in the week and don't wanna be that guy asking them to run it again with me while they get no reward. One of them offered to go through it with me and show me the ropes. I accepted, and the Last Word dropped at the end.

We actually had some problems with the cheese spot described earlier. The boss and phalanx ended up right top of us while we were in the little cheese hole and would not move. Luckily the ramp above you has split in the middle of it that you can barely aim through and we were able to get down his last quarter of life through the small slit.

I had been losing motivation because of the RNG. Now it's renewed.


Sounds bad *** indeed. I've never heard of it and a quick Google turned up zero results on all exotic lists. What is Lucky Aces?

LOL sounds very similar to a tactic me and some random used to beat a Mars strike yesterday.

We were getting our *** handed to us often, constantly dying and having to revive each other in the heat of battle. I discovered a "safe zone", if you will, between a ramp and a wall. Some boxes under the ramp providing shelter. All the baddies knew we were there and came over to visit, LOL. Eventually the big Boss joined the party and it was a mad frenzy of bullets as me and mi amigo rained holy he** down on his tiny head to finish off his last 10% of health.... Lmaooo

Kinda cheesey way to win but got the job done and three strange coins in my pocket

Besides, it wasn't really a glitch area, just a tiny crevice of sanctum from certain death otherwise, lol

I mean Hawkmoon sounds badass when you fire it. Lucky Aces is an unlockable for Hawkmoon. There is an earlier unlockable that states one random round in the magazine inflicts a substantially higher amount of damage. Lucky Aces adds TWO more for a total of three shots that are essentially like firing a rocket launcher 3 our of 11 times. I don't believe that would apply to PVP but I can't be sure.

I've tried in in PVP and it sucks for the most part. PVE it's devastating.

Also...Iron Banner starts TOMORROW. Not sure how I feel about it yet.

Iron Banner is PvP without stats being balanced like they are currently.

Felt like a graphically fancy Borderlands to me when I played the demo (that's not a bad thing to me.). Did the story turn out to be good since they spent so much making it?

The story is horrible, the planets are not unique in function, there is no adventure to be had.

You will play this game for the challenge offered in its difficulty to acquire gear/weapons....if you find enjoyment in that....but you will only be able to enjoy it with 2 of your friends (despite the ability to have 1,000 friends on your Xbox profile) because most of what you do is with a 3 man fireteam.

The main reason I am playing this game right now is to level up my character so that I can do a raid and subsequently not be behind the power curve in the HOPE that Destiny BECOMES what I expected a little further down the road.

I would have played a lot more borderlands if it had the mmo qualities of destiny.

I finished up the exotic bounty for Invective about a week ago. This Friday I was playing with a friend from work and he was agonizing over the 25 strike grind for Bad Juju. Saturday I played with a different who had just spent 3 hours grinding through 25 strikes for Bad Juju. I laughed the whole time swearing that if I had the choice between that one and 2 other bounties, I wouldn't choose Bad Juju. Sunday I get my 2nd exotic bounty. My choices are Super Good Advice (Heavy), some Fusion Rifle that I don't recall, and Bad Juju. Guess which one I chose.

The 25 strike grind isn't that bad. I think I am 8 strikes in and I just keep doing the random Vanguard Tiger strikes. May as well work on my vanguard rep and earn marks while I do these.

I didn't grind the strikes for bad juju, I just let them go naturally. It finished last night. The 10 blue plasma rifles, outside the crucible stuff, has been the most annoying, there's no reliable way to get them.

The 25 strikes isn't too bad, it's just a shame that the payoff isn't that good. Bad Juju is a underpowered POS. Go find a rare weapon that isn't a pulse rifle and go nuts.
