Since I hit 28 the Cryptarch is my bitch. Gotten a ton of purples and a few exotics. I just can't bring myself to shard my exotic hunter armor (I am a warlock.) I just vaulted it and I know someday I will roll a hunter. They are just too powerful in Crucible to be ignored.
Up until then I got one exotic handgun (thanks a lot) which I still can't bring myself to shard. And one purple rocket launcher (RIP Loot cave) I bought an exotice engram from Xur which I was lucky and it was my class. I bought the Icebreaker from him as well. I also when I hit rank three with New Monarchy got the Vanquisher as a gift, and three legendary engrams which were all armor. Then doing Tiger strike playlist, just two strikes got a purple drop turned out to be Grim Citizen.
But you don't wanna know how many hours I've put in.

Nightfall seems pretty easy to solo, I'll have to give it a go once the GF goes to sleep.

Beat the Nightfall this morning with a friend. Was pretty easy. I only went down once, and it was at the end with Sepiks Prime. He shot one of those purple bolts right through a window into my face in that room on the left. Other than being fairly boring at certain points (killing those stupid Reaver Captains in the room with 3 waves got pretty old), it wasn't that difficult.
I definitely need to run the raid at some point. I'm halfway to level 29 and haven't even tried it once. Kinda hard to find anyone to do it with where I'm working overnights. There's a group of 4 of us on my shift playing, but finding two more people to run it in the morning is hard. Maybe I'll be on this Saturday night if anyone is up for telling me what to do. Just tell me what to do and where to shoot and I'm all good

I feel like I've been stuck at 22 forever...although I've been playing 2K mostly.
Is it possible to level up only doing PvE or should I play the crucible? I just don't find the crucible enjoyable at all.Fino Alla Fine

Level 30 is only obtainable through pve. Have to have raid gear to get past 29.Comment

Did the raid twice tonight.
I got a grand total of one rocket launcher. No raid gear. No nothing. I hate this game.
This makes it 5 VoG runs for me and ZERO raid items. Great.Khalabeeb - Tony Henderson

That is awesome, I appreciate the answers.
Once I get to a respectable level, hopefully I get some of you to raid with me. Don't really know a whole lot of people that play this game and the OS community is great.
I got so lucky and got the Legendary Scout Rifle the A.1F19X-RYL when I hit level 20 from a blue engram drop. The gun has been AMAZING for me, I highly recommend it. Really need to upgrade my armor, it's awfulFino Alla Fine

So I attempted the raid again last night,made it to the final boss (didn't finish though),and guess I got pretty lucky with a couple of rewards....
The first one I got was raid boots,and here was the 2nd one.....
Getting this made it all that easier to ditch my bad ju ju bounty
Also,just a couple of random shots......

Sunsinger, no doubt. The ability to bring yourself back from death with your super is invaluable in strikes and, I'm assuming, in the raid.So I attempted the raid again last night,made it to the final boss (didn't finish though),and guess I got pretty lucky with a couple of rewards....
