Did the raid twice tonight.

I got a grand total of one rocket launcher. No raid gear. No nothing. I hate this game.



This makes it 5 VoG runs for me and ZERO raid items. Great.

I feel bad for ya kale, I really do.

If it's any consolation when we ran your second raid I didn't get much either.

I only got the glowing bath towel for my Titan & lots of ascendant shards. Luckily I got the raid arms on my last raid so whatever heh.

Getting all the chests was cool. Still don't really know how we got through the entire raid so quickly. That seemed like 40 min for the entire raid (if that). Those guys were really good.

Hoos got his arms and a Suros, made out nice. Congrats Hoos!

I'm at level 24 and for some strange reason it wont let me play any of the vanguard strike mission's. it says i don't meet the requirements . Did anyone else see this?

I'm on Xbone. I'm finished the weekly and nightfall. (Weekly is harder imo) and will be doing raids most likely the next couple of days. Should be on majority of the day today (thursday) and will gladly help people out.

Thanks Bolt! That was only my second time through the raid. The first time through I pretty much got boned hard like others have, with nothing of worth, only shards and maybe a few other minor items. No weapons, no armor!

So last night's haul more than made up for it

Yeah those guys were good. Kind of crazy going through the Templar phase and not getting marked once! At least from prior experiences doing the raid.

I am finishing up an alt some time over the next couple days and will be looking to do a second raid this weekend, if anyone is interested.

I have an alt that I really only use to farm mats and do a public event each day.

No way I'm going through the entire story again with him lol. I probably should have kept the same class as my main (Titan), but I made a Warlock. He's only 11, one day this week I'm gonna power him to 20+ since I've just about knocked out all I can this week with my main.


@cowher: you'll enjoy read death once you raise the damage, the TTK on it are still kinda meh. But it's burst will get ya a lot of headshot / precision kills. The health refill upon a kill is kinda nice too.

Same here, and it's really not going so bad, in 3 hours I am up to Level 10. Once you get out of the tutorial phase of the story it's not quite so boring.

I'm at 7 after 2 hours. Still pretty boring, which I attribute mostly to poor gear.

Don't forget the low level green vanguard gear you can buy. It next to the ship selling gal & the dead orbit guy.

The class leaders behind/under the bounty guy sell gear too, you just don't use it long enough to worry about it too much, in an hour you are going to outclass anything you might buy with plain drops.

Also, for those that have a Warlock, can you give me your preference between the subclasses? I'm a VoidWalker and strongly considering the Sunsinger...I'm reading up on it now. Would like to hear from user experiences too.

As a player with 3 warlocks, I can help you with this.

For PvP it's all about the viodwalker and his super. With blink and the nova bomb super, he's as good as any class in pvp.

For PvE I prefer the sunginger because of the self resurrect super. It's invaluable in raids and other missions where you can often be the player that prevents a wipe.
