Is it worth it to buy a rare sparrow from the Vanguard quartermaster? Just hit level 3 for Vanguard, but I wasn't sure if it was worth it. I've heard you can get a sparrow from the raid.

Re: Destiny
I bought one to use up some of the vanguard marks, as you can only have 200 stored at a time and I didn't need any armor or weapons. It's a little bit faster(not really much of a difference though). I don't know about the one from the raid as I haven't gotten it.Comment

Re: Destiny
I haven't used the one from vanguard, but the raid sparrow is quite a bit faster and has a boost that makes it go even faster, and blow up if you use it too long. Using my alt without the raid sparrow, I really do miss it, it's fun.
I'm not sure, but I think the raid sparrow might be equivalent to the vanguard plus one of the boosters xur sells.Comment

Re: Destiny
Ran my first strike of the day a little earlier, and came out with this.

Re: Destiny
I'm not sure about the rest of you guys, but Bungie needs to do something different here.
While yea I do play this all the time,I do believe I'm starting to get a bit bored of it.
It just seems to me that once the dailies, and weekly stuff is done, there isn't much more to do.(imo)
The strikes are really getting boring to me at this point, bounties are slowly becoming the same and throw in the weekly stuff, which is just that... weekly, once that is done what else for the remainder of the week?
I wouldn't mind the strikes so much if Bungie would increase the weekly marks count....100 is simply just to easy to knock out in a week (imo)
As far as the raids go,it just seems to much like a pain the butt to gather up folks to do the thing. This is where I would like Bungie to add matchmaking....I know it doesn't seem to be "popular" decision, but what are folks supposed to do when everyone has different schedules.
I guess what's it boiling down to for me,is there doesn't seem to be to much incentive to turn the game on...almost feel like "I'm not missing much" if I miss a few days or weeks.
Sorry about the rant guys...lol just wanted to get this off my chest.People are for reviews if it backs their argument, and against them when they don't.“I believe the game is designed to reward the ones who hit the hardest – If you can’t take it, you shouldn’t play!” Jack Lambert“Quarterbacks should wear dresses.” Jack LambertComment
