Yea, we hit 8 pretty easily. Seems like it only took a few hours.

In that time I drastically changed my view on the game. Very "meh" to me now. I can see how it could become extremely repetitive. The reloading is awkward, the aiming system is strange as well.

I'll still pre-order it to play the beta... I was going to do it today but after extended time playing it, I'm in no hurry.

Vehicles in MP are extremely OP, shooting and double jumping is not smart. Titan's special is a get out of jail card lol. Again, very average. At least it's alpha so they will definitely clean it up and work on it more.

Am I missing something? Is there only one story mission? I've done the first mission (twice actually) and now I only have that mission and an exploration mission that seems to have a bunch of random missions littered about. I've done at least half a dozen of those missions and it's getting a bit bland. Is there not but one story mission?

Yeah only 1 story mission. There is however a 3 person "Raid" mission available and multiplayer.

Found out the worlds are at least somewhat connected. Ran into the Devil walker without being in the strike mission.

Yeah I quit playing the alpha because I could tell it was going to get repetitive based off what was available. Hopefully in beta they open up more to get a better idea of how leveling is besides just the random missions in exploring.

The "exploration" map is pretty big, as long as you moved around and didn't stay in one spot it was fun for quite a while, probably not an entire weekend's worth, but I might try out the other classes if I have time.

Anybody know if the alpha chars carry over?

I posted a question to some friends while playing MP tonight: do you think that Hunter/Warlock/Titan will be the only classes? Seems like very little for a game of such massive proportions. Would not surprise me if full game has 1-5 more different classes to choose from. You could build a whole team of people based on different types, with each complimenting each others strengths and weaknesses. I don't know if this is what will happen (and who knows, maybe that information is readily available, I didn't try to search for it?) but I think it would give the MP a lot more depth.

Like Bolt said, the shooting was very repetitive, and it's kind of a pain to acquire weapons. A lot of the stuff I was using was obsolete within an hour or so. But multiple weapons for varying levels helps for stylization. I personally got using a Fusion Rifle and I love the crap out of it. I like that as I level up that will be available, as well as other types of snipers that can help.

At this point, though, I need to see the Beta before settling on purchase. It needs more. It needs nerfing (MY GOD THE INTERCEPTOR). The no-reloading-while-sprinting thing was a glaring concern. Idk about the double jumping because I was a Warlock and they glide, but sounds like it could use some work too.

Quick questions for you guys: Does the loot you earn in SP carry over to MP? If so, is it just visual, or does having better loot than other people actually give you an advantage? For example, could I have a weapon that does 20 dmg, but the guy I'm fighting has a weapon that only does 10 dmg?

Not really understanding some of the comments about the game getting repetitive already. I mean, it's an alpha with EXTREMELY limited content. Once the full game is out, instead of repeating the same missions, you'll obviously continue to level and take on newer missions in newer locations.

Plus, from what I understand, there are more modes in the full version. I know for a fact that an article was released last week stating that there are also going to be higher level 6 man raids.

Since you're not understanding, I'll try to explain it differently. It isn't about the content, it's the genre itself, the type of game. Maybe repetitive is not the right word since people don't like hearing that lol.

Plain and simple, **** is gonna get real boring real fast to me. It feels like a shooter for children (just my opinion), real simple. Maybe I'll come around if they change it up a bit and add something innovative.

It isn't a horrible game by any means. I'll definitely play the beta and see how I feel after that. Loved it the first hour and 45 minutes, after that (for me) it became stale & old hat.
