Also, after actually playing with you guys and having a strategy with Atheon, it makes me realize even more how stupid of a decision Bungie is making by making Atheon teleport three random people. If there were some kind of way for everyone to practice using the relic, then MAYBE it would be ok, but even still, instead of having a strategy that is legit, it's going to be complete and utter chaos.

Like others have said, Bungie seems upset that people have found a good strategy to soundly beat what they consider the hardest challenge they have designed in a video game, so instead of congratulating people, they'll make it frustratingly difficult.

I've started thinking atheon will be easier. It will be a little more chaotic , but you are going to get an extra 5 seconds per round to shoot atheon where you would be scrambling to teleport positions.

There will be an adjustment, but as long as the other two teleported people toss grenades at the adds and then shoots the oracles, I don't think the random teleport will be too bad.

That doesn't mean it's not stupid as ****, and there was no reason I can think of to actually do it like that, but I don't think it's going to be so bad. Oh, and the patch they talked about hasn't gone live.

They said they were. But didn't. That hotfix last week didn't do anything. They blew smoke up our asses saying the hotfix would change the raid and nothing has changed.

Edit: I take some of that back. Maybe the random teleport thing went into effect? Knocking him off for sure hasn't changed.

I've done the raid twice this week (once on Tuesday, once on Friday), and I can say they definitely hadn't put in random teleport yet.

Just made a hunter, I have an exotic chest piece and legendary boots waiting for him. I'm pumped to have a new class and I'll be able to get more strange coins per week.

I assume you're talking about pushing him off the edge? I think they patched that but I'm not sure.

Unless it was patched within the last 2 days, it's still there.

Sorry I missed the raid last night, here's how exciting my Saturday night was, dryer broke down and spent a couple hrs figuring what was wrong and trying to locate a part. Missed the raid but the wife's happy

I must have been really lucky when I did that bounty. Literally the first chest I opened, within about 10 seconds of going to Mars, had it lol.

Finally got my first legendary weapon, and it's a hand cannon, Lord High Fixer. I've never used a hand cannon, so this could take some adjusting

Lol, yeah, still have to do it on my alt, I'll let you know when I do. I find it much easier solo than with a group, the locked room is a fair bit easier.

I used to be a fan of hand cannons when I first started but now I'm on my auto rifles. Not that I don't like HC's but I just like my current weapon better. What I was going to say though is I've been one shotted in the face several times in PVP by someone with the Lord High Fixer. I think Hand cannons and fusion rifles are the deadliest weapons in PVP in the hands of a really skilled player.

The other day I made a post about how I hadn't strayed from hand cannon or scout rifles since very early into the game. Mostly because I just hadn't had a different kind of good primary drop. Well I got Bad Seed Down out of a vanguard level up package this afternoon. A little excited to try something different and switch things up a bit.
