As much fun as I've had with this game, I just don't care about any of the missions. It's go from here to there. I don't know if it's because it's an alpha, but I honestly have no idea about who I am, where I am, what I'm doing and why.

I would buy this game for the experience with the group, but I just don't feel immersed, which I think would bore me after a bit.

Yeah, but it seems like they rolled the game to level up pretty quick in the beginning, we gain 5 levels in just a couple hours (3 to 8), so you probably don't want to color anything before then because you'll just have to dismantle it in an hour anyway. Level req is probably to save players frustration at wasting money.

That's because you only get the one story mission, and it doesn't seem to be the first mission in the game, there's likely a tutorial and intro. The "exploration" area just seems to be an area to grind loot/xp.

The retail game will have a great multitude of planets, moons, etc, and each of the former will have multiple locations.

I am confident I will pour more hours into this than any game this year. Only problem for me will be trying to decide if I should play Single Player/Co-Op/Competitive Multiplayer. Good problem to have.

I feel you, bro... But I am still concerned with not being pulled in. I get it's an alpha I'm just hesitant at this point. The game is really fun, and I enjoy the depth but nothing mission wise has made me even care what I was doing. I was basically grinding just to see how dope my character could look.

I'm not throwing or trying to throw dirt on the game, like I said, I enjoyed it, but IMO this type of game needs to be driven hard story wise or it just wouldn't entertain me long. Need more than point, shoot, cosmetics.

I was telling Bolt, and John, I think when the beta releases they will increase the level cap, I hope they add a small piece of backstory to connect some dots and help in my decision.

Wait till the full game comes out. This thread is gonna blow up with new features and hidden stuff.

Also you could buy a new Spaceship and speeder bike in the Alpha.

Not sure what good the new ships were, possibly just cosmetic? The new speeders (speaking of, think Disney/Lucasfilm will sue them for that sound? heh) had at least more health.

Here is that enemy I found, it was a level 20 Hive Shrieker and surrounded by probably a couple level 20 knights. They kill me so hard it breaks gravity.

This is on the mission map, haven't seen what is there on the exploration (yet).

I'm confident that this game is gonna be great. Once it release the only problem I see is lag and that only gonna be because a lot of people are playing it at launch. But it gonna be a good game. I know I'ma be playing it for a good 2 years or more with friends.

I would recommend you play with friends because it always better that way for most games.
