I still have two hard mode raids to do this week, the one tonight went pretty smooth for the most part. The only thing I need from the raid is the mythoclast, which of course probably means I won't get it.

Also thinking about putting a group together for next tuesday or wednesday, depending on how they update for the DLC and if I can be free early enough. I'm thinking of starting as early as possible, I want to try this raid fresh not knowing jack all about it or the mechanics. I hate that the current raid was figured out by the time I was high enough level to do it.

I went with the warlock class just because I remember the last time I went with a soldier type (Mass Effect), I got bored really fast and wanted more abilities to mess around with. Anyone else here go with this class and have any advice for a newbie?

Thinking about shelving this game with this new announcement, I feel like Bungie is just pulling this sh.. To see what they can get away with from the community. I just don't think I want to reinvest the hours to repgrade a gun I spent hours getting to 300.

I only have so many hours in the week I can devote to gaming and I don't think I want to continue putting it towards Destiny. Besides, you know that you'll have to do all this BS again when The Fallen Expansion comes out...

The only place the upgraded gun would really be needed is the level 32 raid, which doesn't come out until January. By then, you might have new exotics anyway.

I'm a little bummed by the DLC news, but just gonna keep plugging away. I do feel like doing bounties and stuff this week is a waste of time. I am about halfway through ranking up my vanguard and I feel like I should wait until the DLC drops on Tuesday so I can get that stupid commendation thing. Ranking up this weekend would be pointless.

I'm not happy about what they've done, but I am going to wait and see how things work out. I mean, let's face it, the only exotic I use that needs to be upgraded right now is icebreaker and maybe gjallarhorn, those are the only ones I actually use. Until I get three pieces of 32 gear exotic armors don't need updating.

I don't know, I'm just not going to give up without actually seeing how things go. Might as well, I've sunk like 400 hours into this damn thing, what's another 30 to see if things aren't as bad as my mind has envisioned?

I've been using my bounties to level up legendaries I never got to.

Keep everything a few ticks away from ranking up by tue. Vanguard, cryptarch, factions, etc & keep (10) 5000 exp bounties ready for tue as well.

If you're about to rank something up, STAHP. Keep your blue engrams in Vault as well for tue, don't decrypt then till then.

Cryptarch is because you don't want current legendaries, you want to wait until new 30 gear is out for the factions. Bounties to level any new/updated exotics, I guess?

For exactly those reasons is why I made those suggestions.
